Im also very hesitant to buy BTC when its price is high, especially since I feel that during the next riots in the US, there will probably be a drop in BTC, at least once more.

I also share this view. The mainstream public has not connected the dots yet and they cannot foresee the hit the weakened world economy will suffer in the coming months.
There will be liquidations of even the hardest assets (as we saw in March)  and that will be a better moment to load up.

Thanks Ely for the great translation work!

And thanks MIP for proofreading it.

MIP can you please check the Spanish roadmap when you have a chance?

Sorry I was out on family holidays for a couple of weeks.

Thatīs a pretty good Spanish transalation of the Roadmap, congrats!

Do we have any Spanish speaking members that will review our Spanish Forum OP post?

Spanish Forum OP post is nice.

There is only a minor typo here
"Minería combinada RandomX prove a los mineros"
it should add an "e" to "prove":
"Minería combinada RandomX provee a los mineros"

The rest if correct.

Archived Proposals / Re: Should Sanctuaries fund our Orphans?
« on: July 10, 2020, 03:38:53 AM »
I donīt see this as a bad idea on the long run.

But in the short run if a MN owner has 5 sancs, it is unlikely that can affort $200/month in sponsorships.

So some or all of those sancs will be probably liquidated (or dismantled if the MNO wants to hodl).

I would suggest this change to be made in a more gradual way, if it was possible for example to maintain a sanc with a $5/month donation, then after some months we analyze the effects, and then maybe decide to rise to $10/month per sanc and so on.

Regarding the user with a MacOS wallet issue

Can you help me please ? I can't get the Biblpay wallet on my macbook. When I download it and open it, it puts up a message that says there are no mountable files. I've tried over and over but it won't work. Please help.  Thank You.

I wrote him by email asking for MacOS version, and gave just a couple of instructions to make sure he didnīt download any other binary version for a different OS by mistake.

But he hasn't answered my email yet.

Thats a sweet chart, btw.

On a side note, what we are really looking for in DWS is when some of the original large rewards get paid out and that would end up *raising* the ROI back to where it was (before that particular burn took place).

So in a perfect world, say that in August for example our ROI drops to 27% for 365 days, but we start seeing 1 mil being freed up again roughly per day, that would keep the ROI in equilibrium and allow us to be attractive for a long time span.

Just a silly question, do you get the ROI at the momento of the burn, or the one at the moment of the reward (when the deposit period ends)?

Archived Proposals / Apple Development License
« on: June 07, 2020, 11:04:11 AM »
Effective on June, we had to pay for the yearly Apple Development License, which is 99€.

It is used to distribute the iOS app and sign the MacOS DMG file of the Core Wallet binary.

This is roughly 500.000 BBP at current prices, which I will add to the proposal in the IT budget.

Thank you!
