** XMR+BBP parternship appears to be a success **

I'm very pleased to announce a small update regarding our RandomX initiative.
...
The other equally important facet of this initiative is we have successfully found a way to eliminate 100% of the drawdown on the BBP currency ticker (remember, in the past, with our huge orphan charity expenses, each time we liquidated for compassion, we sent our price spiraling down by 70% as we raised money for orphan charity); those days appear to be over!

This is great news for both orphans and price action. It was a bit unfair to see this penalty on the price, and even more knowing the project has improved to become a rock-solid chain.

Let’s hope in the coming months we see the spiral but up for sponsorships and price.

Are we racing towards the mark of the beast?

Cryptocurrency patent #060606 using body activity data in place of POW (apparently with the assumption that someone is already chipped):
https://patentscope.wipo.int/search/en/detail.jsf?docId=WO2020060606&tab=PCTDESCRIPTION
I find it highly disturbing how many times the word "blood" is used also.

I almost didnt believe this was # 060606, so I incremented the number by one and sure enough its valid:
https://patentscope.wipo.int/search/en/detail.jsf?docId=WO2020060607

I believe they will try to put us the chip with the excuse of a remedy for CV.
If you don’t follow then you will be considered an outcast.

This is a very useful application of sancs and covers the gap left by several MN hosting ventures that ceased activity.

Rob, how do you create new sancs as a full 4.5M share is reached? Manually? If so I can help you with this task.

** BBP-Xmrig 5.10.1 - Mandatory Upgrade for Miners **

- Remove automatic tithing from the miner

* Note:  The old version of the miner tithes 10%.  Please start using the new version, as the pool now holds back the 10% orphan-tithe automatically.

Thank you MIP, excuse my ignorance on the matters with Mac, as I understand the part about being able to compile it and not digitally sign it (and that the user has to disable gatekeeper).

The part I am hazy on, are you unable to test it because Gatekeeper will make your whole system insecure if you test it, or are you unable to test it because of time due to the coronavirus problems?  Another words, will anyone be able to use this or do we need to find a way to sign it?

We can't sign it with our iphone app key can we?

It's mainly lack of time for signing and for testing because of the CV emergency. I will try to create a signing script and DMG today. Without signing, anyone can use the binary but disabling the gatekeeper protection for that specific binary.

I could compile our xmrig for for MacOS, please find it here

http://www.biblepay.org/xmrig_mac.zip

However it comes unsigned, so at the moment whoever wants to use it will have to disable gatekeeper to use it.
I could not test it myself yet either.

Mined this block so far

Code: [Select]

Transaction total size: 197 bytes

Generated coins must mature 102 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours.

** ADDITIONAL TESTING STEP NEEDED **

I was just thinking also, since this is a *major* release (we are increasing ram footprint, switching algos, changing pools, adding randomx etc), we really should also be testing the MAC release.

Can someone please test solo mining and pool mining from a mac, and ensure biblepay-qt and biblepayd works?

I will start testing solo mining on macOS. So far QT version with 2 mining threads takes 949MB RAM (81MB compressed). CPU usage is consistent with the 2 threads (marks 50% on the 4 core mac)

I will report back with any findings

** Compile update for 1.5.0.3 **

MIP has confirmed the prior binary was bad and wouldnt sync, and so he re-released the linux binary and confirmed the new one does sync now.

Thanks Rob. I basically rebuild everything from scratch, including all depends and RandomX lib, just in case.

Upgraded all 3 of my test servers to v1.4.8.4

Im running privatesend on all of them, but no coins are mixing,
this is what I see in debug.log:
https://i.imgur.com/P2whFqB.png

This is my config on all of them:

enableprivatesend=1
privatesendamount=1000000
privatesendrounds=2

I commented out privatesendmultisession=1 for this round of testing

Im running each of them as QT GUI,
and I typed "privatesend start" into each console

When I check the coins in Send tab >> Inputs,
the denominated coins all show as 0 for "PS Rounds" column

I will reach you tomorrow so we can do some tests with private send on testnet.

147
I have tested 1.4.8.4 against mainnet and everything seems to sync properly (chain, sans, proposals, leaderboard...)

148
It seems the DWS worked fine, I got the payout in time as expected (staked 12000 obtained 1800 for 24h).

I will create a new one taking a bit longer

149
Tested PoDC during a couple of days and

- GSC transmission working fine
- PoDC reward received correctly.

I will test DWS now

BiblePay
1.4.8.3 - Leisure Upgrade for TestNet

- Fix bug preventing syncing from 0
- Fix 'exec rac' PODC transmission height
- Enhance 'exec sentgsc' to allow a CPK parameter to audit sent gscs by CPK
- Fix bug ensuring that unbanked cpids are included in the GSC
- Add warning when user executes sendgscc, if coin-age is low, that PODC rewards will be reduced.  Also add a warning to exec rac .

** This is the windows & self-compiled release **

Testnet MacOS and Linux binaries also available

So far I could associate the user and everything went smoothly

I will wait for some blocks to run exec rac and post results
