General Discussion / Essay from Kairos Children's Fund
« on: January 18, 2022, 11:07:47 PM »
Last week I announced an essay contest for the children. So far, only one person has given the essay, but I wanted to post it here. It's really an amazing essay, very well written. In fact I am surprised that her English is so good! I am sure she wrote it herself, because I know this girl is very honest and I can "hear" her "voice" in what she wrote.
Quote
What does Jesus mean to me?
Each person whether a child or adult, we always have this one significant person who greatly inspires, influence or impact our life and perspective. We tend to look at that person wishing 'someday I wish I can be like that too'. Let me share to mine--the person who I follow, serve and love. The person who did not just inspire, influence or greatly impact my life but He totally changed it. His name is Jesus. Yes, you read it right! JESUS the most wonderful, beautiful and powerful name I ever heard. But what does Jesus mean to me? Jesus, for me, is my everything. He is my faithful father who supplys and provides all my needs and bless my household with enough or more blessings sufficient for us to bless others as well. He is my enduring friend who is always presents in every season, the One who is always there fore me to comfort, encourage or convict me everytime I fall. My helper who helps and comforts me in times of distress and trouble.  My Saviour who save my from darkness and the power of sin and from the wrath to come. My Master and Lord who is sovereign over all things. The giver of Life and salvation. He let me live so that I can enjoy and be with Him for eternity. He redeems and calls me as His own. He's the source of my peace and Joy. He is my God and my life. A life with Him is a life full of His presence and in His presence is fullness of joy and peace. Praises and glory be to my God and saviour Jesus Christ who is blessed forever
Angel has lupus, and "incurrable" disease, but I know that God can heal her. She is very strong in her faith.

General Discussion / Re: Kairos Christmas
« on: December 21, 2021, 07:18:11 AM »
Good day friends.
We recently had a pretty terrible typhoon in the Philippines.

We praise God because ALL of our scholars in Dumaguete and San Jose are safe and their houses are all ok, but unfortunately, there are still 2 families in Bayawan that we haven't been able to contact.

The 2 that have been contacted from Bayawan have minor damages to their houses.

I am in contact with their person overseer there in that place, and she tells me that they haven't been able to contact the two families because cell communication is down.

If you would like to donate to help relief efforts, click the link before. This link is not just for Kairos Children's Fund though.

I am overjoyed with the blessings that we have received - from Biblepay and others. I would like to thank those who gave and other Biblepay supporters. I can really see the quality of life changing for our sponsored children, because of their support...

We have gotten a big amount of donations, so if we do get this proposal, then about half will be saved for school supplies for next semester.

Thank you Biblepay!

Production Proposals / Kairos Christmas proposal
« on: November 29, 2021, 10:00:00 PM »
December is a special time for Children. Most kids love the attention, special food, and of course, gifts. For poor kids around the world, parents do their best to provide those three, but it's not always possible.
For the Kairos kids, we plan to give them a gift box. It's something we haven't done before, but we believe that we can this year. It might not be much, but something means a lot.
We will also be having a Christmas party sometime during the week before Christmas.

I am making this proposal for 2m, which would be about $260 (as of Nov. 30). This is enough, I believe, but if we get more in donations that would be great.

If we get more than needed, we will use the balance for school supplies next semester.

If you would like to give a donation, please consider adding a Christmas greeting. I will be posting pictures after the occasion on our website, Facebook, and Unchained.
You can also use BBP or paypal.com.

Question: What exactly does the Service Provider Demo do? I ran it but didn't know how to interpret the output.

Another side issue, the BBP did not show up until I logged out and back in. I don't think this is a bug, just rather confusing to me.

In the greeting card page, I could not enter Virtual Gift Card Amount $

I got another error when trying to submit it:

Yes, I do need to create a proposal also... Thanks for reminding me.

Could you send some bitcoin to yd3SVvSHxDZE3yMDJ2QiCDgcbdNqnKp4ws so I could create a proposal and a NFT. I could also do the greeting card again, although I did that already.

By the way, I did create a proposal using my old account - the one I lost the password to.

Rob I was able to log in. I created a NFT called Great is the Lord, then realized that I don't have any balance since this is a new account. So I shouldn't have been able to create a NFT right?
