Error new Wallet
« on: July 16, 2021, 04:17:43 PM »
Dear Team,

I have just updated to the new wallet 1.6.2.9 but after some time that it is trying to resynchronize the blocks, I have this issue attached.

Any advice?

Gdday.

Could you share your debug.log with us, could be helpful. located at  >  C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Biblepay
in search box type: %apddata%   then there you should see biblepay folder with debug log etc etc...

Other then that what i can think of is if you run from cmd :

Code: [Select]
cd "\Program Files\Biblepay"    biblepay-qt.exe -erasechain=1 from you biblepay folder C:\Program Files\Biblepay  perhaps it can remove the problem.

Thanks a lot, retried two times with this command and then from the wallet GUI itself and it worked.
All good now, I can see my updated balance.

Hi,
I have a wallet 1.6.2.5 (win 10 - 64). The wallet is not updated (update does not work).
There is no file on the https://biblepay.org/biblepay-win64.exe page. (new version of the wallet)
What should I do?

Hi Melhisedek, Love your name,

Anyway, I see you are still mining successfully in the Foundation pool.  (You can see if you are mining by going to the leaderboard in the pool).

Is the problem you arent getting paid?

You might be out of sync - please paste the Version of your wallet - you should be up to 1.6.2.9
You can get this in Wallet | Tools | Info
And make sure you are synced up to the chainz block:

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/bbp/

Thanks for the reply. I mine to the address of the wallet that appeared in my personal account. A month ago, payments on it stopped.

Hi,

Mining from the pool to the pool is not really supported.  Please mine to your home wallet address.
Also, please don't mine to SouthXChange either; a lot of services do not receive coinbase payments that are sent as multi-v-out-s (like we send from the pool).  You can mine to 'unchained.biblepay.org' if you want, but that program is in beta, so I still really recommend to mine to the home wallet.

Let me know how much you missed and I can give you a pool balance credit.

Thanks.

I have installed a wallet. When I open it BiblePay (64-bit), I see this:
"Failed to rebuild the block database"

We don't have that string in our code, but if your block index is corrupt, just restart with:
biblepay-qt -erasechain=1
Or click Tools | Erase Chain.

NO issues here with my wallet.  I was actually wondering if there had been any errors/bugs reported with the wallets "encryption" option being activated?  I couldn't see any issues in forums, but never hurts to ask. tyia

Ive been using an encrypted wallet for a few years and never had any issues.
The only issue is you have to type 'walletpassphrase blahblah 999999' in the rpc in order to unlock it, which is understandable.

You can also back up your wallet to a flash drive before you encrypt it and have an extra backup.
