Greetings,

Thanks Lictsucher!

I would like to know the best way to configure multiple linux & windows miners for the pool. Should each one use their own receiving address, or is there a way to have all BBP sent to one main address?

Hi Lichtsucher, me and another miner having a problem with Purepool. Basically, everything works, but the pool wouldn't show any miner statistics. Please visit this thread:

Hopefully, we'll find the solution

Hi zthomasz,

you can use one receiving address for all miners. Important: If you want to use the same CPID, copy the wallet.dat to all maschines. But remember that this means that the wallet is available on all systems, so better have a cold-wallet with your not-stacked coins somewhere else :)
You can also have different wallets for every pc, but then you need a working PoDC work for every one of them, with different CPIDs.

Hi GoodDeed,

the pool required a valid CPID with magnitude and payment in the last superblock (if I remember the check in the client right, this is checked in the biblepay client itself).

In your thread, it looked like this:
Total Payments (One Day): 0
Total Payments (One Week): 0
Magnitude (One-Day): 0
Magnitude (One-Week): 0

This would prevent you from working on the pool, as it would mean that you could not solve blocks.
I would need your CPID for any more checks.

"You can also have different wallets for every pc, but then you need a working PoDC work for every one of them, with different CPIDs."

So if I have 2 windows pcs in purepool ...
1) BOINC must be running on each machine
2) Each machine must have a separate CPID

Does #2 require multiple accounts for Rosetta@Home? Or can separate CPIDs be used in a single R@H account?

Also, I registered this miner a few days ago but still no statistics ..
workerid=BQB34r5kvkfCpcEm7bEf4W9E2rfGewa7Jy/TASAcer

Here's the biblepay.conf file ...
addnode=node.biblepay-explorer.org
addnode=node.biblepay.org
addnode=biblepay.inspect.network
gen=1
genproclimit=1
pool=https://pool.purepool.org
workerid=BQB34r5kvkfCpcEm7bEf4W9E2rfGewa7Jy/TASAcer

I don't know if it makes a difference, but BOINC is running on the same machine.

Thanks in advance!

Hi zTomasz,

I just checked your submitted solutions, I get the error: 'cpid_sig_valid': False
Something must be wrong with the cpid. Not sure what might be the reasos for that.

Can you post the full output of "exec getboincinfo"? thx :)

Looks like you didn't have a CPID assigned :) The CPID Fields should not be empty.

Did you assigned the CPID?

Yes, I assigned the wallet to Rosetta on March 12 2018 and it's been successfully mining BOINC since then.

When I try to reassign it in "Add Me As A Distributed Computer Researcher" I get "ALREADY_IN_CHAIN."

My controller wallet shows a CPID, is staked, etc. This wallet doesn't show a CPID, plus it only has 10 BBP.

Edit: Just checked miner stats at:

this is new ..

Not sure if I understand what you are doing there :)
You have multiple different wallets? Or are these copies of the same wallet? If yes, please copy the wallet after you assigned the CPID.
What you can not do: Have multiple different wallets with the same CPID at the same time.  Did you tried this?

I understand.  :)

Earlier you wrote : "You can also have different wallets for every pc, but then you need a working PoDC work for every one of them, with different CPIDs."

I'm not sure what mean by "... you need a working PoDC work for every one of them ..."

What is "a working PoDC work" ? Do you mean that I will need a separate Rosetta@Home account for each wallet that is BOINC-ing Rosetta, unless each wallet is sharing the same .dat file?

Also, if each wallet shares the same .dat file, does each wallet need to use the same receiving address/Worker ID?

Thanks!

Hello Lichtsucher,

it seems I have messed up something with my CPID, I hope you can give me some advice. :-)

Everything was working fine (besides no rewards due to no staking), I had my Cross-project ID: f0d06c7ee48c5fe61c0864e84503ba64 associated and listed in my wallet and mining was working.
As electricity is quite expensive here in Germany, I'm using ARM devices to do the Rosetta work.

Then I found out about the command "exec unbanked" and noticed several CPIDs being listed there. So I went to my account at pool.biblepool.org to choose "Associate unbanked CPIDs".
Since having them had "succesfully associated", exec getboincinfo shows no CPID anymore:

{
  "Command": "getboincinfo",
  "CPID": "",
  "Address": "",
  "CPIDS": "",
  "CPID-Age (hours)": 423497,
  "NextSuperblockHeight": 42640,
  "NextSuperblockBudget": 1179301,
  "Total Payments (One Day)": 0,
  "Total Payments (One Week)": 0,
  "Total Budget (One Day)": 1179301,
  "Total Budget (One Week)": 8255107,
  "Superblock Count (One Week)": 8,
  "Superblock Hit Count (One Week)": 8,
  "Superblock List": "42435,42230,42025,41820,41615,41410,41205,41000",
  "Last Superblock Height": 42435,
  "Last Superblock Budget": 1179301,
  "Last Superblock Payment": -2,
  "Magnitude (One-Day)": 0,
  "Magnitude (One-Week)": 0
}

Reassociating at "Distributed Computing" won't work, as I get the message "Already in chain".

getmininginfo shows up this:

 {
  "blocks": 42563,
  "currentblocksize": 11003,
  "currentblocktx": 3,
  "difficulty_podc": 1607.120555638294,

  "miningpulse": 13709,
  "poolmining": true,
  "pool_url": "https://pool.purepool.org",
  "poolmining_use_ssl": true
}

And finally, here's my biblepay.conf:

addnode=node.biblepay-explorer.org
addnode=node.biblepay.org
addnode=dnsseed.biblepay-explorer.org
gen=1
genproclimit=14
minersleep=0
pool=https://pool.purepool.org
workerid=BPgoZshXpUxf67ThCvnc2z3rDxxGSpv5vU

It would be great if you had some hints how to solve this. It seems it had something to do with associating my unbanked CPIDs maybe?

Thanks in advance for any help :-)

Best,
Jandro

After starting all over from the beginning, things seem to be working now.
Re-gathing RAC now - at least the other Rosetta tasks weren't in vain :-)
