New wallet (v1.5.0.7) does not synchronize

Hello everyone,

I installed yesterday the new wallet (v1.5.0.7) on Windows. When I start the wallet, on the lower left corner it says "Connecting to peers... 2 year(s) and 42 week(s) behind" and it gets stuck there, no matter how long I wait.

I didn't have this issue with the previous wallet. Any help how to solve this?

After renaming the directory BiblepayEvolution to BiblePay and starting the new wallet all my information is now correct, but the wallet still doesn't synchronize. It is now 18 hours behind, which is indeed when I closed the previous version of the wallet and installed the new version. But it still can't synchronize.

Any idea what could be going wrong? My wallet still can't synchronize. It just stays there trying to synchronize. Please look at the attached figure to see where it stays.

Some more information. I opened the debug.log file and found the following error:

1) Closed BiblePay wallet (I am on Windows 10)
2) Made backup of my wallet.dat from  %appdata%\BiblePay
3) Removed BiblePay wallet from my computer
4) Renamed (and didn't remove, just in case anything went wrong) the directory  %appdata%\BiblePay
5) Reinstalled BiblePay wallet
6) Started BiblePay wallet, which recreated the directory  %appdata%\BiblePay
7) Waited to synchronize
Closed BiblePay wallet
9) Copied my original wallet.dat back to  %appdata%\BiblePay
10) Started again BiblePay wallet

Everything seems to be working now.

If you went beyond the block height before you switch to 1507, then you would have been on a sidechain not recognized by the 1507 network, exchanges, etc.
