Awesome!

Just a heads up, currently if all proposals currently passing pass that comes out to 15,058,821 BBP
There is only 15,375,000 BBP in the budget, leaving 316,179 BBP leftover which is below the amount requested for this proposal.
So this proposal may knock out another proposal, or be pushed to next budget cycle.

Phore, a masternode coin, a fork of PIVX, got 2 banner ads on bitcointalk for Round #240 last week
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3218541.msg34322333#msg34322333

This is great news, meaning Theymos has opened up to masternode coins

I dont think we have the funding right now,
1 ad slot is going to cost about 0.26 BTC ($2,100)

But there is hope now,
Im tempted to bring it up in the current ad banner auction thread and see if we have the go ahead, Im not sure what to do

Archived Proposals / Re: Proposal idea: airdrop
« on: April 12, 2018, 08:26:07 PM »
I dont know the airdrop space at all, and you seem to have some knowledge
and Ive seen airdrop stuff on your twitter.

airdropalert.com is the number 1 result when you google "airdrop crypto"

- Will you have to manually verify the actions they take?

Potential Actions:
"Following BiblePay Twitter Account, Retweet or createate Tweet @BiblePay"
"Join BiblePay Discord "
"Subscribe on Reddit /r/BiblePay, Upvote and Comment"
"Upvote and Comment on Steemit/Medium Article"
"Add BiblePay to your Bitcointalk Forum Signature, Comment about BiblePay on Bitcointalk Announcement Post or in Altcoin discussion area"

Other Actions:
Join Facebook Group
Join Telegram
Submit email for Newsletter

- What actions do you plan to make participants do?
- After performing their actions they have to send you the proof/records of it?
- Will there be a lot of time wasted sorting through scammers trying to fake doing the actions?
- How much effort will confirming actions take and how much money would you like for that effort?

- Do you plan to advertise the airdrop, and where?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0
https://twitter.com/cryptoairdrops

Looks like there are other websites, articles, etc could contact/leave comment on to spread the word, Id be down to help with spreading it.

- How long do you think the airdrop will last?

Depending on the actions users will be required to perform, this totally has my vote

Archived Proposals / Re: Biblepay Charity Commission - Revised
« on: April 10, 2018, 01:32:54 PM »
A question I wrote down a long time ago in my notes,

What happens to the monthly superblock (IT/PR/Charity funds) once we reach year 2050 and reach end of block rewards?
(Assuming I am understanding what happens around year 2050 correctly)

How will we continue to fund IT/PR/Charity?

just a question for discussion, we are still 30+ years away from this.
Ethereum doesnt have a hard cap and so its inflationary,
Monero has a tail end emission where a constant amount will keep being rewarded,

My understanding is that with Bitcoin and other coins, miners will keep mining to be rewarded the fees that are still in blocks.
But we havent seen how this pans out yet, and probably wont for many years, unless we can observe crypto coins whose max supply has already been reached.

You have my vote!

Next proposal superblock has 15,375,000 BBP,
50% goes to charity (7,687,500 BBP), so assuming $0.0022 per BBP, thats about ~$17,000 for charity

I assume for Compassion at least half of that will be requested, ($8,500+)
and sounds like CameroonONE still needs a little bit ($2,200)

Given that there arent any other charities creating proposals at the moment, that still leaves $6,000 open, so I think we are totally fine.
But yeah there is risk that value of coins could go down (or they could go up!)

Archived Proposals / Re: Biblepay Advertisement on Cryptolitics.io

https://www.cryptolitics.io/

How much does it cost? and for how long?
How many users visit that website?

296
4 hours - Twitter/Reddit
2 hours - Bitcointalk Advertising
4 hours - PODC Documenation
2 hours - Exchange Research, Documentation and Contacting
6 hours - Website Development, PR Meeting
3 hours - General Support
2 hours - Block Explorer Maintenance
8 hours - Business Meeting with Rob

Block Explorer is $30/month now, so I am also requesting $90 to cover next 3 months

31 hours at $20/hr = $620 + $90 = $710

$710 divided by $0.00223 per BBP = 318,386 BBP

297
There is currently 2,533,945 BBP left in the budget if every proposal currently passing passes and every one currently failing fails

at $0.003 USD per BBP that comes out to ~$7,602 and at ~$9000 per BTC thats about 0.845 BTC

I think we can trust you Jaap to hold onto it, Id also be okay with holding on to it as well if the community is okay with it,
this does get into the whole centralized tmike sanctuary masternode debate, but this would be very short term I would hope

I went ahead and contacted or submitted forms for:

Name --------------- Website ----------------------------- Listing Fee ----- Volume
Crypto Bridge ---- https://crypto-bridge.org/ --- 1 BTC -------------- https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/cryptobridge/ ---- Submitted Form
Coinroom ---------- https://coinroom.com/ ------- ?? ------------------- https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/coinroom/ --------- Contacted
Mercatox ----------- https://mercatox.com/ ------- 1.0-1.5 BTC ------ https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/mercatox/ --------- Contacted
Yobit ----------------- https://yobit.net/en/ ----------- 0, 0.1, 0.5 BTC -- https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/yobit/ --------------- Submitted Form
Poloniex   ----------- https://poloniex.com/ -------- Free? --------------- https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/poloniex/ ---------- Submitted Form

Livecoin is too expensive for us right now at 4 BTC,
I think we can reasonably do 1 BTC from one or two monthly budgets

Bittrex is also free, but we have to have an Enhanced Verified Account with them to submit a listing, which we would need Rob I believe:
"Please provide an Enhanced Verified Account of team member registered on Bittrex.
This team member must be either a core developer or a major shareholder (10% or more) of a company that backs the development of the coin.
That member will need to submit identifying documents to get their account Enhanced Verified."

C-CEX still has new user registration disabled and has drama over losing Verge coins
CoinsMarkets is slowly enabling some coins, but has basically been offline for us for a couple months now
SouthXChange is doing well for us

Luke did a great job creating an excel sheet and filling it with info,
I finally dove in and looked through the exchanges listed on coinmarketcap, looking for exchanges that have lower listing fees and have high volumes of masternode coins,
these are exchanges I think we should contact next:

Crypto Bridge
Coinroom
Mercatox
Yobit (What ever happened with Yobit?)
Livecoin
Poloniex
Bittrex

Are you open to sharing the google excel sheet Luke?
