Archived Proposals / Re: Proposal - listing BBP on GIN MN platform
« on: August 28, 2018, 05:06:28 PM »
I understand that BBP price and budget is tight but BBP needs to be expanding and be visible to various platforms to keep pace. To be on GIN is imho more significant than be listed on CoinExchange.IO which is just another (not very significant) exchange. BBP doesn't need to be on more small exchanges but there should be complete ecosystem around BBP in terms of various services and uses cases. It means:

1) small exchanges(5) : SouthXchange, C-CEX, CryptoBridge, CoinExchange, QIEX
- DONE (not one of them is in TOP100 exchanges), no need to invest in this area even single BBP in the future imho
2) MN hosting platforms(0): this is where GIN goes (and you can already vote for it)
3) Alt P2P / escrow platforms(0): this is where MCT+ goes (you can also already vote for it)
4) payment processor(0): like bitpay, coinbase, etc. (beyond BBP size budget right now)
5) big exchanges(0): like bitfinex, binance (TOP10 exchanges - that's beyond BBP size and budget right now)

You see, BBP has 5 small exchanges but nothing else from this list. That's why I believe we need to leave any effort to list another small exchanges but to focus on other types of platforms where BBP is yet missing. Big exchanges and payment processors are currently beyond BBP budget. What we can do now is to make BBP present on MN hosting platform (like GIN) and P2P escrow trading alt platform (like MCT+) for decent money. That would mean to have 3 of 5 ecosystem groups covered plus bringing additional exposure and PR to BBP.

Whoever wants to build special BBP hosting platform, feel free to do it but it imho doesn't substitute being listed on GIN. It would be similar effort like to build your own exchange and thinking that is the same like to be listed on Binance. It's not.

I'm not disagreeing, I'm just saying there was no budget for it this month.
Hopefully the market can recover soon and things like this can be moved forward

I like the idea, but the timing is off in my opinion.
Right now we have a full monthly budget and this would push us over budget. With our low price we are struggling to pay our charity expenses.
I'd be open to this in the future when the market recovers (same for your other proposal MCT+)

Sounds great :)

Hi all,

I want to request funds to be able to buy premium-editions of the following two Wordpress plugins:

Yoast SEO: This is an SEO-plugin for wordpress. The free version is already installed, and is primarily used to improve our position in page-ranking (which basically means that search engines will show our website sooner than others). The premium version will add more (much needed) functionality and will enables us to give our website more exposure. It costs €79 ex vat. But since we're not incorporated yes, I'll buy it as a consumer and it will cost me €95.59.

The Newsletter Plugin. This is a plugin we use for our alerts and newsletter. Buying the premium-version will allow us to automate processes, get analytics, and add a nice 'sign up' bar to the footer (or as a pop-up), which will - hopefully - result in more people signing up. This plugin costs €49 incl vat.

That totals €144,59. Current BBP price hovers around 0.00000030 BTC which is about 0,0016 EURO. That would make 90368,75 BBP.

I hope that people can see the value of adding these two premium plugins.

Great!
Can we also please consider plug-ins for translations? Would be great to have it in at least Spanish, Korean, Chinese.

Archived Proposals / Luke (znffal) work from last few months
« on: June 22, 2018, 05:40:52 PM »
Hi all,

I just wanted to put in for a few things that have taken quite a bit of time over the last few months.

1) I started a Medium news site for BiblePay: https://medium.com/biblepay-news
I also started a Steemit page because that is popular with crypto people. https://steemit.com/@biblepay
Most of the articles overlap between the two sites, but not quite all.
Since I started the Medium account (almost 30 days ago) we have had on average 14 unique visitors per day, and as of this minute, 777 views total in that time.
My vision for this is that it would be a news-hub for BiblePay. Also, it looks like we will post these articles to the new website, so I hope that they will be very useful for BiblePay PR moving forward.

Total articles: 11 on Medium + 1 unique on Steemit.
Total Time: 22 hours.

2) Togo and I did a radio interview with Canary Cry radio, check it out! https://medium.com/biblepay-news/biblepay-pr-canary-cry-radio-interview-new-biblepay-show-episode-6c8f39fdb838

Total Time: 4 hours.

3) I have been running point on a few outreach projects. I have had two phone meetings and many email exchanges with the team at Manna (another cryptocurrency). I can't talk specifics of this at this time, but we are hoping that we can get some good PR for both causes. https://www.mannabase.com/

Total time: 7 hours.

Grand Total: 33 hours.

Average BBP price last 7 days: 0.00244 USD

Requested: 33 hours x $25 USD/hour / 0.00244   =   338000 BBP

Yes, I was asleep. But I have transferred the 1 BTC :D
Exciting! I think by Christmas this exchange could be a > 10 Million exchange, assuming they stick to their Roadmap!

Nice work mate!

The new upgrade looks really good! And I really appreciate the monthly superblock graph!
I note that your pay rate is in Euros which makes your hourly rate more than Robs!
IMO, Rob should have the highest pay rate in this project!

Edit: BTW I'm not saying change it, but perhaps as a group we should define standard pay rates for the project?

Re: Voting for CryptoBridge listing:

It seems to be the go-to exchange for masternode coins.

https://twitter.com/OmniAnalytics/status/980805986905620480

It has almost double the number of Masternode coins as second place in the list.
And their volume has increased since this list was made.

Nice!

Hi April,
It looks like we have some budget for this since no-one asked for P2P this month.
I will vote yes.

Having said that, please add the proposal to the pool ASAP :)

Thanks.

Here are some pictures if you need them Togo!  :)
Hi Jaap. Are we allowed to share these images, say on Twitter, or a blog?

Hi everyone. Attached you can see the receipt for the sold BBP for CameroonONE thus far. We're at $3671.18 of the total requested $4000. That leaves us with 328.82 dollars still needed to pay ahead for the 14 children for the entire year. This will be 'round 3'.

BBP seems quite stable around the $0.003 mark, so that would translate to nearly 110.000 BBP. I'm going to ask for a bit more to cover for
1. The proposal itself (2500 BBP)
2. Price fluctuations
3. Costs to transfer funds from c-cex to coinbase
4. Costs for transferring from coinbase to bank-account (don't know if costs are involved in this actually).

So I'm going to ask for 125.000 BBP in total, and hopefully we'll get just a bit above the $4000 mark!
Big yes from me
