Yeah, I hear you, I was going through the same thing in TestNet when I wanted to test BTC.  If you add three zeroes before your pin, (IE .00012345) it gets it down to about $20 at the end, but nevertheless thats a lot of money to make an 'adjustment'.   (Same goes for ethereum, as far as network fees).

DOGE is turning out to be very valuable for those type of things.

Of course Stellar only costs .01 to make an adjustment.

Since 8 decimal places seems to be standard, if you put in 3 zeroes before the PIN, it seems that you need to stake over 0.010 of whatever currency for the PIN to be recognized, which is a significant amount for BTC (or perhaps simply stake the PIN itself with 2 or 3 zeroes before it, which gives very little flexibility.)

I have an opposing view that what we've done is bent over backwards to provide a high level of flexibility for the user to stake currencies that are not even related to biblepay and earn rewards, for very little fees.

It's a one time adjustment, and the transaction charges are something inherently high in bitcoin and ethereum, not on our end.

Congratulations to whoever bought an NFT!  Someone bought someone elses NFT, the one with the clock, for 55K.

At least we are starting to see a use case for these!

Todd is in the process of creating a few Orphan NFTs for us, he's got the mac client working.

Hello Rob,
I was the one who bought the NFT "When the World Stool Still" but I had not entered the CPK address on my account and the NFT went back for sale.
I'm waiting to see if the 55,000 bbp returns to my wallet to be able to redeem it ...

I didn't mean this as a criticism of BiblePay.  Using a 5 digit PIN is a reasonable security measure to prevent possible abuse, while allowing the user to keep the foreign cryptocurrency themselves.  It had occurred to me that an extremely limited way around the minimum 1 million SAT stake for BTC might be, if the PIN is, say, 12345, would be to stake exactly 0.00012345 or 0.0012345 BTC.  It might be helpful if the documentation noted the high minimum value for a BTC stake, and the high BTC and ETH fees.

Hi Brother Fredo,

Let me try to understand so I can help fix the problem;
Cause in my view, we do not allow the purchase of an NFT in the pool unless the user populates their "CPK" in Account Settings first.
I remember we throw an error and say You have not been charged.

Looking at your Pool account, I see you do have your CPK populated for NFT purchases.
I know you bought the NFT twice; where is the problem, is it that we took the money from you twice, and didnt refund you once, and was your CPK populated to begin with, or what was the chain of events and what resolution do we need at this point?

Thanks!

Hi Bro Rob,
thanks for your reply.
Yes I bought it twice.
I completed the CPK address the second time.
But now in NFTList I see that I have it 2 times.
On the other hand in My NFTs in the Windows wallet there is nothing that appears.
I bought it back because I thought it hadn't worked, since it was on sale again in the nft market this morning.
I thought the 55,000 bbp was going to come back to my wallet.
But now I see that I have it twice in NFTList.

Thank's

Hi Fredo,

Oh OK, so I *think* what probably happened is you probably Did have your CPK populated even the first time (thats why no error occurred) and if you go to Account | Deposit Report, you probably have been charged twice (and it should give the same NFT id in that report twice).

I actually sponsored an orphan that Todd created last night at 9PM, and the same exact thing happened to me (the orphan was Paid for then the orphan went back in the marketplace).

So now that I have reproduced the problem let me see what the issue is --

Thanks!
Rob

What is the significance of the background color on the block history page for the pools? They have always been green when I looked, but now it is red on the foundation pool.

My CPK address was entered on my account, but not for the NFT Market, I completed before the second purchase.

Well the signifigance of Maroon and Gold is 'The blood of Jesus' and the breastplate of righteousness; but the answer to your question is I'm standardizing the CSS so we have less colors all over the place, so I combined the tables yesterday to be one color.

I do like Green but I also need to make sure we have as few colors as possible in the theme.

Hi Rob, The block 279802 seems to be the point where an issue has appeared. The block on bbp explorer does not match the block shown through my wallet (1.6.2.8 ). All blocks before match, all blocks after do not match.

Ah ok, good to know it does not mean something bad happened.

While I understand the reason for the color by significance now, the Maroon and Gold is much harsher on the eyes (for me, possibly others too), than the green and black.
