FYI - Happy to report that everything is moving along smoothly. Expecting an update early this week for initial post-test deployment of the 1-to-1 swapping functionalities.

You'll definitely have another update by mid to end of the week. Should be good news.

Thanks brother D!

Definitely XRP - comes with a huge community as a bonus

Thanks, doing some ripple testing right now!  And Stellar.

Public Development Discussion / Re: biblepayd compatibility

I'm going to tackle some bbp coding.  Will existing Perl/Python/PHP/Ruby bitcoin libraries work with biblepayd?
Sorry for the long delay (I didnt have this thread on notify).
So you have a couple choices here with biblepayd:
1) You can use the rpc to speak to biblepayd.  This option requires you to use either NBitcoin for example (or wrap your own http library if you are crazy) to make calls back and forth with JSON replies.
This is the most common way people talk to the daemon.
2) You could just script to the console and issue 'biblepay-cli' commands.

With both of these, all these languages should support either going through an rpc lib or console scripting, yes.

You might need to find a different alternative to NBitcoin if you go through certain languages.  I use NBitcoin in c# to talk to biblepay-qt for example.

Mining / Re: Adding Loki to mining proxy
« on: May 09, 2021, 07:25:40 PM »
Now we can mine BBP and Monero but for now BBP does not worth much and mining BBP also does not worth much. I was thinking if it was possible to add also Loki mining (because it has the same RandomX algo).

So if someone prefer to just mine Monero instead of BBP + Monero - 10% monero (because as I said BBP does not worth much and miners likes to dump what they mine) the same person maybe would like to mine 90% Loki + 90% Monero + some very low 0.xx BBP.

I don't know how this combined mining works, I assume it is like a proxy so it should be possible to also mine Loki, it just need the result to be sent to the pool without any delay right?

I think someone can fork and use it to mine another RandomX type coin, yes...

I have a little too much on my plate right now to personally do this but I suppose I could assist in questions once a person gets a clone of foundation.biblepay running...

Note that with xmr merge mining, the high difficulty (28 right now for example) would make it really hard to solve a block on another chain though.  So, it might not be profitable to do it.

(Another words, our diff is shared across chains).

Mining / Re: New XMRig release - mandatory update?
« on: May 09, 2021, 07:22:22 PM »
Hello community, hope these words find you all healthy and very well.

I have seen that a new release of XMRig is in Github, specifically the 6.3.0 and I wonder if it could help me in any way to Update it. At the present time, I am using 6.2.0 (BETA) - and I've been having only 11% of  huge pages memory.

I don't know the reason and I am the less experimented user out here. Please help.

Thank you very much, God bless.

Hey bro Elias,

I tested the latest version of xmrig (and the version from one year ago) and they both still worked for me!

Recurring - Weekly BiblePay Prayer Call - Business Update

Continuing this Sunday at 2PM CST/7PM UTC (May 9th, 2021) we will be holding our third 60 minute prayer call (and business update):

The agenda:
30 minutes: Prayers with Evangelist Patrick & Rob (this includes prayers for the world, our prayer list, warfare, healing, and finally
 BiblePays future).
15 minutes: Business Update (what we are working on and important immediate issues, new ideas for the Christian dashboard)
15 minutes: Questions from Pat or the audience

Who is Evangelist Pat?  He is our prayer co-captain and founder of Haven of Refuge, a ministry that specializes in deliverance from PTSD.

Please join us on Sunday:

NOTE:  This is a recurring prayer call for every Sunday, so unless we change the schedule we will automatically continue this every week.

Biblepay is full of Leverage, because we have 5.2B coins to emit over 29 years.  This means those who get in early have more potential than those who miss the party - although there is no guarantee of future profits.

But one of the ideas in UTXO is to pair BBP with another crypto to give you a safer level of exposure to the sector.
With BTC, ETH and DASH already reaching high prices, my goal is to include pairs of cryptos that give you a lot of leverage as a user.
For example, the idea with BBP+DOGE was to allow you to buy a lot of quantity for a little.  However, DOGE has already skyrocketed up to fifty cents as of today, so even that appears (depending on your view) as moderately or higher priced.

What coins do you guys/girls as a community want to see biblepay paired with in the leaderboard for future DWU and leverage?

Obviously this decision is tied mostly to quality also - please don't misunderstand me and think that I want to pick the cheapest, I do want to pick the coin with the most *potential*.  The one that matches biblepay's technical innovation and helps us work together as a positive partnership.  Price is the second factor (Im basically looking for undiscovered hidden gems to pair with).

In the background I'm looking into XLM (Stellar Lumens), and Ripple (XRP).

'Yeah i had around 7 hours downtime the other night , isp have some trouble with mobile connections over here.

I ran your getblockhash command on sanc and got :

Comparing to yours : getblockhash 86417

Looks the same to me.

Good morning Earlz!

Yeah our llmqs and chainlocks are working fine again now so you are good, except your sanc is still pose banned.  It just needs 'exec revivesanc' again.  Its not participating in the quorums now that it is at 800.

So one thing I did find in this version is our Proposal Add process is broken.  I found the root cause of this last night, is that we submit proposals in 4, and require 6.  Apparently because we relaxed that req. in classic (understandably).  I will fix this but this requires a mandatory just to test proposals add (and proposal Pay), so I will hold off on this until the next required release.  After all we still need to test RX mining against the pool in prod and I havent set that up yet.  We also need to Move ~biblepaytest to ~biblepay in this version to take off the training wheels (sounds like something we can do all in the next release).

I have also invited Cameroon One to join us, to start testing NFTs here.  I believe I also will need to make a testnet launch option to make testing in testnet either.  What I propose to do is *add* a windows executable in the next zip called biblepay-qt-testnet that will auto launch in testnet (so there is no need for a testnet conf file).  Ill try to get that in the next release also.

So Earlz will you be able to test the remaining test cases also, like for example the icons and the spend status of the high risk stakes and the referral codes etc?

What on that list hasn't happened in the recent PAST? Its interesting to see peoples reaction when they are talking politics and I tell them it's all going according to Biblical Prophecy
Amen!  Hey I used to read rexresearch right before I got saved, lol.  A little too much, I might add.

Not that its bad or anything, just very controversial.

How NTF's could change marketing strategy for Artists:

Up and coming music artist or an author instead of taking a publisher's money up front and then share the revenue with that organization, they can now sell to their social media audience an NFT and give them a percentage of the royalties of the future earnings instead of from a publisher.

Yeah that sounds like an interesting idea; almost the same as eliminating a broker from a real estate deal also.

What could possibly go wrong?  Buying a commercial building that has a bad foundation?  Infested systemically by flesh eating termites, or built on a hazmat site?

Just kidding, of course, but .......
