EDIT: Sun-- are you referring to having these two binaries added to each mandatory release:
https://github.com/biblepay/biblepay/releases/tag/1.5.4.4
(I added windows to 1.5.4.4).  I will check with MIP on the dmg.

Yes, I forgot only binary releases for mandatory are put on github. Please ignore my request. :)

Hello Togo.
Nice to see you again.
Yeah i think the update you put together looks all good.

I suppose at the download wallet section could add the official biblepay github aswell.

Is a gitHub release page with Windows & MacOS binaries download difficult to setup? I think it would add more legitimacy to the project, although I have no idea how much work this involves. And would it improve the burden of having to update the biblepay web site?

@Togo - nice to see you. Was about to message you about reddit but here you pop up again.

@ Rob - We can stake Doge with BBP? I have some and wouldn't mind testing it out. I unfortunately sold all my BTC, DASH, and LTC on this latest bull run to pay for some educational expenses.

Peace brothers & sisters. May the Lord's shine on your souls brightly.

My wallet says I have 8M but the send coin control says there are 11M are locked & staked. I had trouble with the 3M locking the other day... I wonder if that's why...? See attachment.

is there a way to know how much bbp and other crypto is being staked as a report for utxo mining? i saw the leaderboard but didn't see actual amounts staked. i made the dws report for the longest time, so being able to chart something over time would be nice. if you have a csv format, then I could pull from biblepayd and chart it out on google sheets.

That explains why my stakes did not work because my smallest amount is 434 BBP. Thanks for the explanation. I'll try a bankroll shortly.

Also, what do you think about the overview screen having a "Locked" line under Balances to show the balances that are locked (which in turn may tell you how much you are staking in utxo mining)?

Actually 'easybbpstake 450000 0' (dry run) does show the correct potential stake return with current conditions.

When the client first boots up, it needs to warm up for about 15 minutes or so to pull all of the oracle info in (for the easybbpstake calculation).

That explains the initial drift.

Yes, I see it now in dry run mode. I guess there's no more room today for stakes?  I saw go from 98% to 27% now. Great participation from everyone!

I notice that DWU on easybbpstake 450000 0 is 200

If I do easybbpstake 450000 1 is ends being 28.70

Is DWU supposed to be the stake return percentage? Can dry run show potential stake return percentage?

As more Bibles are being added to BBP, does that increase the client size or memory use? Just thinking out loud here, but could we zip/compress the text into the blockchain and have it retrieved by the client by reading the blockchain database? It would make the blockchain bigger, but I wonder if you can scale better and add more languages of the Bible this way?

Not sure if anyone has done this but I received a Voice of the Martyrs newsletter and they were talking about handing out mp3 players in N Korea with the gospel on it.

And I was thinking maybe we can have a bible printed in Korean with a cover that says "Learning cryptocurrency" etc.  Something that throws off the real contents and have a chapter about cryptocurrency in it but the actual whole new testament in it also.

Yeah, balloons are popular that is filled with communication, media, etc for North Korean citizens to learn about the outside world.

I was referring to each block in BiblePay has sequence of bible verses that are tied to each block. I was thinking verses from maybe the previous day's verses could be voted on? Whatever gets the votes bubble up to the top. I know sanctuary voting and cpk both have advantages and disadvantages. I tend to think cpk (although there's some gaming potential) would expose the Gospel to more individuals. Potential gaming is always a potential issue, and frankly, its an ongoing issue with a difficult answer. Perhaps in the mean time, we can expose more people to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and that in itself is important than people trying to game with multiple CPKs.

Verse of the day would be cool.  (On a technical side note, if we were to make a comments section, we could write a comments 'widget' in QT that could be used for any object type and that sounds pretty useful for many things, so lets keep that on a side note).

Afa the actual verse of the day what would you suggest would trigger the initial seed verse, or seed list of verses?  IE how would the wallet pick an initial verse out of the 36,000?

(One possible idea is to build out our 'scripture memorizer' tool a little more - there are currently about 35 verses in there taken from 'best bible verses for Christians' - we could add more and then pick one from there each day for example, based on a deterministic block hash for example).

As far as voting, have you seen the vote-by-coin-age feature in the right click of the sanctuary vote for the public?  And do you think this type of voting for a verse would be better done by a single CPK vote?

Thats a really cool API Sun.  For the most part it seems to work pretty good too.  Its interesting that theoretically this type of reward could be automated including sentiment.

I was able to trick it into an 89% false positive with 'Your exquisitely good and pleasurable and funny and kind to deal with in your great wisdom and character, especially in finding out the worst in people as you are my backhanded friend who is actually a Judas like deceiver!', but for the most part I think it does a pretty good job.  Its a little pricey though.

Cool find!

I was also thinking of verse of the day. Since we have verses in every block... maybe there will be a way to upvote best verses for the day? Voting within the QT wallet could give points from a small pool daily. Maybe comments to verses would be voted on as well? It would encourage people to read verses daily, comment on it... BBP will be paid, but it also encourages Bible reading which may help people learn more about the Gospel.

Yeah, it is pricey. I like your idea though Rob. People upvoting or downvoting would keep them involved... and it wouldn't be an unmanageable scale initially, but something to consider if BBP reaches top 100 at some point! ;)

I think it may be that I don't have enough bbp in my wallet. My rac is over 700 now. Once I buy more I should start seeing the rewards.

To earn BBP, you can post in the main biblepay forum thread ... you can also buy. If you type exec rac in tools, debug console, you should get more information about how many BBP you need (assuming they are aged 1 day) to participate 100%.

Mining / Re: How much BBP should I get with 2 - 3 KH/s ?

Thank you for your reply.

But I thought APM feature was disabled.

Is it still enabled?

It was enabled temporarily as an experiment to see what it would do to the price. Since, price was not positively affected, it was enabled again. A release in the next 6 months will change the parameters, so when the price is unchanged or goes up, miners will be rewarded.

there's some instructions here:

I also made a diagram that might help you:

There's a lot of moving parts within BiblePay and WCG, so it can be a little complicated, but I wrote down all the little things you need to do.

And here are instructions on how to join team BiblePay:
