When I try to associate my CPID's I get a 'already in chain' message. Is this because this is still the old testnet? If so, I'll re-associate. I presume it's no problem to have the same CPID on both testnet and prod, right?

Okay... So that basically means that BiblePay would have to be incorporated (I don't know if this is the correct term) before we can publish the wallet for Apple?

Well... Plans are underway to achieve this, but I guess you could call those plans mid-term, so it would be really unfortunate if we could not publish now with an 'individual' account...

I'd like to thank the community for putting the trust in me to create a hardcopy guide. I'm focused on the website right now. After that, I'll start on the guide. If anyone would like to participate in this project, then please contact me.

Also, the designer I'm working with will perhaps also be able to work with us on an animation for the website. But I can't say anything conclusive about that at this point in time

So I have completed what I believe is a "final for now" version of the whitepaper. I've added in a page on PODC and one on security details.

I think we should get this moved over to our official website sooner rather than later though. We can always make subsequent changes as necessary.

Thanks for your generous heart. I thought the other day what you might do with the "points" from the AmEx, but if you're tipping a little extra, I think it balances out.

I was confused with Compassion.com  and referring to orphans because all the kids I read descriptions are on poor kids in families. I wonder if there's a more accurate word to use besides orphans. It raises a red flat (scam) in me if I read orphan but the organization itself doesn't really support orphans (no parent alive) in their current form.

Don't get me wrong... I'm pleased we can help support a coin that aligns itself with God calling us to help the poor.

I think that this is a valid point. We should be clear in our wording. I personally don't really mind calling what we do 'helping orphans' because I know that is being meant by this, but I agree that for newcomers, this might be confusing.

Maybe a more suitable definition would be 'disadvantaged/needy/underprivileged children'?

Of course, the Bible-verse we use states:
"Pure and undefiled religion is to care for orphans and widows in their distress,
and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world." James 1:27

These are the orphans we are referring to.

I see that I made an error by taking the euro exchange rate but calculating my hours in dollars. The exchange rate is actually $0.003/BBP now, so it doesn't really make much difference. I'll just give myself a raise of 50 cents an hour and keep the proposal as it was :p

I'm posting here for clarification for a new proposal: Habib has talked about creating a hardcopy guide to give to churches/organisations/interested people.

Apart from that, noxpost also posted on bitcointalk about his church organizing a 'Bitcoin and the Bible' series, and also for this a hardcopy guide could be very welcome: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2388064.msg37644458#msg37644458

So I'm asking for what is left in the PR budget this month (104.210 BBP, which is about 300 dollars) so work can be started on the guide. I was going to wait until the website was finished, but maybe it's good to get started with this ASAP and have a basic guide that anyone can use or print.

For this money (or at least part of it), I will have a designer design a nice template and animations for the guide (the same one that designed the PowerPoint I made for Habib). Maybe it will look something like the Mannabase infographic: https://www.mannabase.com/static/documents/infographic.png but something that can be a little booklet, like half an A4 per page.

And I'll use the currently available information (whitepaper/guides/etc) and also the information that will be on the new website, to put together a nice basic guide that looks appealing to non-technical persons. I will give a full documentation of the worked hours and money spent, but I think that this budget will get us a pretty long way, and I'll be able to pay external designers with this

Hi everyone. Attached you can see the receipt for the sold BBP for CameroonONE thus far. We're at $3671.18 of the total requested $4000. That leaves us with 328.82 dollars still needed to pay ahead for the 14 children for the entire year. This will be 'round 3'.

BBP seems quite stable around the $0.003 mark, so that would translate to nearly 110.000 BBP. I'm going to ask for a bit more to cover for
1. The proposal itself (2500 BBP)
2. Price fluctuations
3. Costs to transfer funds from c-cex to coinbase
4. Costs for transferring from coinbase to bank-account (don't know if costs are involved in this actually).

So I'm going to ask for 125.000 BBP in total, and hopefully we'll get just a bit above the $4000 mark!
