Previously submitted proposal for initial trial payment for cryptoid explorer of BiblePay.https://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?topic=382.0

With great acceptance of the explorer by the community, it is time to extend the subscription for at least another 6 months.

Currently asking 97 500 BBP ($0.000687 * 97 500 BBP = ~$67 USD)
2,500 BBP for proposal brings it to 100k BBP

Whatever BTC is derived from 97.5k BBP will be submitted to Cryptoid to extend the subscription.

So when voting, please vote the above scenario (not the homogenized scenario as that will be deleted).

I'll vote for 70% so there is capacity for growth, but will only pay out the fiat equivalent (according to QT), so I don't see any 70%. Whereas if you have 30% or 50%, you may need to recode (or is it a spork?) in the future.

First of all, PoOM is a great concept and glad to see some concerns with v1 and v2 being addressed. v3 sounds really promising especially with Kairos being onboard. I'm inspired to start sponsoring one child,

John Doe, Miner 001, CPK 001, Sponsors Abraham, Cameroon One Orphan #ABC, for $40.00 per month.
Since this costs John Doe $1.33 per day, (and our wallet knows the current BiblePay Price thanks to QT), this is auto-converted to 4430 bbp per day

Charitable Giving & Crypto Income?

If we contribute to Kairos, they give contribution summary at the end of the year (maybe as an encrypted PoDS?) When we "mine" BBP, we know the fiat price, so we generate "income" on the day the BBP is put in our wallets? One is charitable contribution, and the other is crypto income?

Pay out exact BBP or less?

Giving BBP to sponsors in exact amount (instead of fixed pot) will allow other projects to be sponsored. Having a fixed pot may encourage sponsorship early on, but s/he could drop the "orphan" as soon as PoOM was unprofitable. Remove the greed motivation by paying only exact or less (as sponsorship numbers grow).

Other charity integration?

Is there a plan to help other charities like BLOOM to join PoOM as well? Perhaps something simple as a Google Sheets or Airtable to use a database? This way other charities can be involved in PoOM without a backend developer to make the integration? Will the details of what's needed for integration be published at a later time?

I see 25 masternodes got made in the last 24 hours And voted yes by one person. More than saving hosting fees, the priority seems to be a desire to maintain control and power. You raise MN cost to 4.5M and that makes it 3x as difficult for newcomers to buy enough bbp for a MN.

Vps cost less than $1/mo.

If you want diversity and the ability to voice an opinion, make the MN cost 750k bbp instead.

Acts 27 Bible Study Questions

What would you say is the biggest, most exciting, and eventful journey you have ever taken?

Can you explain the similarities and differences with the story of Jonah?

Verse 3: Why do you think a Roman soldier responsible for his prisoner’s captivity would let Paul go freely to his friends? If you were the centurion, would you let your prisoner have so much freedom? Can you share a time when you trusted someone with a big responsibility? Did it pay off or were you disappointed?

Verse 9-12: Paul warned the crew that the ship was headed for disaster if the voyage continued. Have you ever been so intent on reaching a goal
that you forgot to pay attention to the details? Can
you give an example?

Verse 19-20: When Paul is in a difficult situation, God meets Paul’s need. Was there a time when God met your need in a difficult circumstance or situation? Or, if you felt God did not meet you, explain that situation as well.

How can God guide us when we have "storms" in our own lives?

I received a donation praise the lord , and thank you very much . A little bit goes a long way . In fact this month there are plenty of students who are graduating or moving up, as they call it here .
We will be buying gifts and supplying their family with additional rice.

Now , during the summer there are activities which the scholars join . They can either have music training or join a sports clinic. I will continue to create proposals for the same amount dot this would go to subsidize their summer programs.
They will be back to school in july

May I ask what's your process for getting BBP to Philippine fiat (peso)? Do you have to pay any big fees for conversion besides crypto and exchange tx fees?

I wonder if the consolidation can be achieved in an alternative way (as maybe others have suggested in other forums) that is to allow for multiple masternodes on a single host? That would mean allowing each sanc to use a different port. I don’t know if that is worth considering or even technically possible.

It is something I've been trying to do recently, but have had difficulty compiling from source. Evo 1.4 is different enough from 1.2 that I've hit a few stumbling blocks. I know one coin where the user has 32 masternodes on one IP utilizing different ports.

Exactly because of this, I'd argue it's best to vote "abstain" on the other two options, because that makes it transparent that you didn't vote "yes" on those too, but that you are participating in the vote for one of the three.

You vote based on the merits of the individual proposal irrespective of what surrounds it. The proposals aren't dependent on each other. They just happen to all be posted in the same monthly superblock, but I'm voting as if each proposal was added on separate superblocks. How could you vote otherwise since there was no prior discussion?

NOTE:  Blocks are supposed to be once per minute in testnet, but we are clearly being attacked.  I think the same person who is sending 6.66 to SouthXchange is doing this as the foundation in testnet is receiving 6.66 tithes and the diff jumped to 115.  This would be a very good time for us to exercise our anti-botnet blocks and see if they work.

We need an upgrade anyway, so let me work on consolidating changes and making a release.

You are back to deleting posts again Rob? So much for decentralization and non-censorship.

Archived Proposals / Re: Feb Payroll
« on: March 22, 2019, 12:00:33 PM »
No, I think our devs who put in time for development should be paid, especially since we work free 94% of the time.

Could you help us create a fundraiser to pay the devs for the other 94% compensation they havent received from yourself and a new group of people with honest hearts?

Yes, I agree the devs should be paid. Every dev has so far been generous with their time and not asking much in return. Your sacrifice is noted and appreciated by everyone. I think you misunderstand my point. I'm just suggesting that perhaps you bill for your time in advance or in a more timely manner for past development hours.

If you want to discuss fundraising, that's a separate topic. I'm more than happy to brainstorm with you on this.

Its a shame we once had someone vote against the Hope for Widows.  I pray that this same person opens their heart to Jesus.

Perhaps some people didn't feel it was a worthy proposal. Do you expect every proposal to pass?

All Sanctuaries:

Dont forget to vote on this sanctuary proposal to retire or not to retire PODC.
Earlier I noticed this proposal was not visible in some wallets because of the fork, but it should be visible now.

We plan to retire PODC on block 107,000.
After this block, 100% of the PODC rewards will go to POG.

Block 107k is only about 2-3 days away, but proposal voting has another two weeks left to go.

Two thirds are saying yes, but I don't feel the governance process is being followed if the retirement of PoDC comes before voting ends.

Hi,

I purchased a 1-year individual dev licence from Apple on April 2018 in order to have certificates for publishing signed DMGs for the Biblepay Core Client in MacOS, and also to be able to prepare a iOS mobile wallet to publish in App Store.

As you probably know already, Apple refused to publish such application because they don't allow it for individual accounts.

Currently our only alternative to create a iOS app is to acquire an Enterprise Dev license from Apple (priced 299€), which requires to consolidate a company and have a DUNS number. At this moment this is not available so we stuck here.

I want to request 99€  to renew the individual license for 2019 so we can keep our certificates to publish the Biblepay Core Client in DMG for MacOS.

At current prices (BTC@3464€ and BBP=5 sat) that would mean 571594 BBP.

Thank you for your time.

I support you on this.

Are you able to publish to Apple Store at all? Would it say MIP on it instead of BiblePay?

I've been talking to Cryptoid admin and s/he is offering explorer service for 12.50€/mo with no ads.

Crypto advertisement may not align with Christian values. Although, it costs slightly more to run ad free, it is more professional and does not present BiblePay visitors with potentially sinful marketing.

Verified that BiblePay blockchain is compatible.

Can pay via BTC (market EUR equivalent) or PayPal (needs name, address, VAT, etc).

I was thinking trying them out for 3 months at 12.50€/mo.

The explorer is very fast. You can see blocks, tx, and address history very quickly since all blockchain data is import into SQL database.

You can try it out yourself here: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/

Togo currently pay $40/mo for a 4-core VPS and due to explorer bugs, explorer performance is terrible.

For what Togo pays in 1 month or what Slovakia charged for 1 month of biblepay.ovh, you can get 3 months of service through cryptoid.

Really, its a no brainer.

If this proposal is approved, I will submit again in May for an extension of 3 or 6 months.
