I can see your point. Volume problem you describe will not be solved neither by MCT+ nor by a big exchange listing. MCT+ could rather add some more BBP visibility and safe p2p trading platform. Current exchanges where BBP is listed have quite decent volume for many other coins but BBP is still lacking there. It means BBP is not attractive to traders from one reason or another. It needs to be addressed.  Imagine BBP is miraculously listed on Binance, what would happen? Spike first day, then hard drop, then volume declining close to zero in no time a and soon BBP would be delisted. We need to think about why volume is so low on CURRENT exchanges. What needs to be done  to reverse it. I have some ideas and right now I think BBP trading bot would be the best way to address this right now. Also BBP needs to be visible on as many emerging platforms as possible mainly (also for PR reasons at this time). I have no doubts about MCT+ platform. These guys are doing great having clear roadmap that is implemented in time. Of course as everything in crypto space, there are no 100% assurances. MCT+ listing on CMC is delayed (probably because of duplicate symbol usage) but in progress, that's not an issue.

I absolutely agree with your points about exposure, volume and PR. I haven't researched MCT+ yet. I will when I find the time.

I think it's interesting what you say about a trading bot. Having volume is important to get noticed on our existing exchanges more. Do you have any experience with bots?

Archived Proposals / Re: Proposal - listing BBP on GIN MN platform
« on: August 24, 2018, 11:23:34 AM »
I created the proposal, paid 2500, txn is confirmed but unfortunately it doesn't show in proposal list so it seems there might be a bug and proposal is somehow broken  (txn: 20f0dbcdef42f50eaac0ef3b878865d7fffd5828024e3da88dbb7f16b8a802c7 ). So if anyone of you can create valid proposal, feel free to do so.

I do not see the proposal in my wallet. I think it's best if you contact Rob at [email protected].

Yeah, these are quite common arguments. Bottom line is that serious MN holders don't care that much for those additional 10$ they spent on GIN platform per month per node because they save lot of time that is worth much more than that and they have all their supported MNs under one roof (seeing immediate status, reports, etc.) and knowing that someone takes care about their MN nodes. And that's quite priceless. It's like taking a taxi vs driving (and maintaining) your own car. This taxi is actually pretty cheap.

So, if a masternode crashes of forks or whatever, they will notice this and fix it for their users? Because guaranteed uptime would indeed be a pretty sweet deal for some users I think.

How long do you expect the funding to be needed to recoup the cost?

I personally believe we're now good for the number of exchanges short of a top  25 sort of one (which would either be prohibitively expensive, or in a lot of cases free but needing to be justified by increased volumes).

I agree with being good for the moment concerning exchanges. Hopefully - with the current market - it will take max two superblocks to recoup.

I agree that the Sanctuary-payout-fluctuations make it that they don't get paid the stated 38.5%. If it's fixable in a way that preserves network-safety and reliability, I don't see a reason why your proposal shouldn't be executed.

Having said that, I really don't have the expertise to really have any input on this topic.

Archived Proposals / Re: Proposal idea: airdrop

Jaap, I say jump on this as soon as possible, Im willing to front the BBP for this :)

I already received 1M BBP for this :) But I'll probably have to sell half of it to pay for the PR-side of things. But it would be nice to have a 1M BBP airdrop in total.

You have my vote

On the amount, if there does end up being space issues or debate on that,
you could start out creating 2 proposals, one for each amount

Smart :) Thanks.

Just a minor update: airdropalert is standing by to do some PR for the airdrop. But I'm going to wait until we have a general PR-roadmap (that's currently being worked on) before I set a starting-date.

Hi everyone,

So, Rob asked for 1 million BBP (which he will send to me after the next superblock hits), and I will further ask what is left over in the budget for this month.

There are two proposals that are redundant ('Twitter Advertising August' and 'YouTube Video Review'). If I leave those out, there is still about 593k BBP left in this months budget. I will ask for that budget to recoup the 0.5 BTC I spent on getting us listed asap. Hopefully, that will be within two months.

I hope that you all vote in favor of this proposal. But I know that money is tight right now.

After I recoup the 0.5 BTC, I will decrease the 'New Exchange Fund' amounts requested and try to focus more budget on the upcoming PR-campaign.

Thanks!

Also, if we get listed on more Chinese exchanges, I think that it's a good idea to translate biblepay.org to Chinese also.

Nice 'TODO' list Togo!  8)

I must say that I honestly have no idea if something like this is worth it... It might be. I hope that others have some input on this :)

I was contacted over Twitter by https://twitter.com/yueyanbao
and contacted [email protected] over email
I am writing this proposal on their behalf

I cannot convert their website to English, the Chinese text is generated weirdly

Wow, that's a high volume (if it's real)! Sadly, we simply don't have the budget at this time. I guess it will be at least 6 months of saving before we can consider something like this...

I was contacted over Discord, writing this for Levi

The price fits our budget, could anyone do more research?
They are not listed on CoinMarketCap, but said they are working on it

Pretty low fee. Of course, we have QIEX (although we'll have to see how that pans out). I think it's a pretty good strategy to be listed on more than one Chinese exchange (attracting arbitraging Chinese traders).

Thank you! :D
I will try to add an inscription in the future. The problem is that the space for the inscription is very limited. I do not know how to Facebook, but in VK.com, if you make a repost, you can see the source in the post. This is very helpful and people are moving to the group containing the original post.
It looks like this:

All those images I find at pixabay.com They are distributed under the license CC0.
Thank you!  :D

Oh, right! Yes, they are great for social media indeed. I bet Togo can also use these very nicely. And thanks for the copyright-information :)

I'm going to save these images and use them when I can!

Oh, I just came back from a vacation in Russia btw, so I can read it a little bit. It's quite easy once you familiarize yourself with the alphabet. A lot of words with Greek/Latin roots. (But thanks for translating in English anyway, haha!). I really like the quotes you chose btw.

Where do you live in Russia?
