Version 1529 synced without problems on Ubuntu and Windows.  :)

I upgraded my Windows wallet and my Ubuntu wallet (and started both with erasechain=1). Windows is stuck on 219999, Ubuntu is stuck on 220005. Both show "getblockhash 219999" a604769fc4a51eccb3397887a33d3fdc20ba60edea327b14f4986378ece987ae.

I'll just leave them running overnight, let's see what happens.

** Great News Today ! **

2)  We have transitioned past block 220,000 without any issues so far!
Now LLMQs are working in production, in phase 1.  In this phase, sanctuaries will start POSE banning each other, and theoretically in 200 more blocks we will see the sanctuary count drop.  Which will increase the ROI for POOS sponsorships (by sanctuaries).

However, we still need to do some testing in 400 blocks to ensure everything works and we can sync from zero.

So far, I am excited to see a few sanctuaries being POSE banned.

EDIT:

If you want to see the percentage of bad sanctuaries compared to the good, you can check and see who is signing the llmqs with this command:
quorum info 1 7efc37fd6be6f89733ff27bda7c85d3c3663539bbbc2a729bf9aa49d765634b2

Hi again. I think there is still some kind of forking going on. I tested your command on my sanc and it worked fine.
On my controller wallet it created an error and I checked back and saw, that this was on another chain. So I restarted it with "erasechain=1".
Now I came home from work at it is synced again, but again on a completely different chain. Also the 2 explorers seem to be different/stopped.

Could anyone please confirm, that my Sanc (at least) is on the right one?

Is there some fork situation going on? I updated my sanc to 1527 and it's currently  in sync with the chainz explorer.
Then I realized that my windows wallet was 2 blocks ahead, so I just restarted it with -erasechain=1 and let it resync completely. However, now it's almost 20 blocks ahead and the hash (e. g. for 219239) doesn't fit either.

Code: [Select]
getblockhash 219239:

On biblepay.org, our domain was being attacked.  We do have cloudflare in front of the site, but we needed something additional to stop them.  Now that I have seen the logs I can see why our web performance was so low over the last year.  I believe the problem is permanently resolved now!

On APM, the wallet assesses the open price (IE yesterdays price) at the last gsc height.  So for example if you type exec price, please see the height in brackets (218550) then the 'next height' 218755.  It uses those two heights to compare price A to price B.  I know that we had a 'price increased' for a while yesterday but it looks like it settled back at .115 again by the time the GSC height occurred.  So now we need to see the price settle above .115 at height 218755 for the emissions to start.  (For all intents and purposes I believe the sancs have to have about 50 blocks or so to change their vote if the price is flipflopping, etc, but in general they should be able to reverse a decision in that kind of circumstance).

Ah, I see. That makes perfect sense, thanks for clearing it up.  :)
I think we will see in the upcoming days and weeks, whether or not all of this works out; I'm quite excited on that.

I wanted to download the new wallet, but biblepay.org shows Error 524 (timeout). :(

A question regarding APM: today the wallet showed "APM=PRICE_INCREASED" for several hours. Nevetheless, my sanc payout still was only 4.6 BBP. Is there some kind of delay in the assessment? Or how does the time windows for the price changes vs. the payouts work?

As always, thanks for your hard work. :)

Hi Dave,
Its great to see you are hanging in there with us.

On #1, I recommend emailing Todd at:  Todd Finklestone <[email protected]
Just to tell him what you sent via paypal, and your sanc pub key.  He usually updates the bio within 24 hours.
Once the bio is updated, biblepay will update within 10 minutes.  Then it will immediately go from 700 to 0 (POOS ban level).

On #2,  that sounds normal.  As long as you did paste the blsprivkey in the biblepay.conf on the sanc.  Just check it again now, because I noticed they usually come up about 30 minutes after I start them.   But dont worry because you have til 220,000 before you can be POSE banned anyway.  If its not up by tomorrow please post and we can try to debug commands.

Have a good one.

Hi again. When I came home today, Todd had already answered back and the child biography is online => my sanc shows now enabled, POOS Score 0.  :)
(btw: the term "score" seems a bit misleading to me, since it's lower=better).

My sanc today in the morning still showed the same error. So now I just stopped the remote wallet and restarted it, and it immediately came up as "ready". So it seems like everything is a-ok now.  ;)

Hello again. Quick questions about sancs:
I had to cancel the vServer where my sanc was running and therefore tried to move it to another one. This took much longer than I thought (mostly because I had to wait almost 2 days for the collateral to become available again after removing the sanc off the masternode.conf).
Now I finally managed to get it up and running and yesterday I sent the orphan payment (via PayPal).
Question 1:
My Sanc is now listed under the DIP3-Sanctuaries Tab as "Enabled, POOS_BANNED". How long does it usually take until the payment gets associated with my sanc? I copied the orphan ID into the payment info.

Question 2:
On the remote wallet the mnsync status says it's synced, but the masternode status says "Waiting for ProTx to appear on-chain". I upgraded it according to the "Create Sanctuary 2" help page. Is this how it's supposed to be, or do I have to do anything else?

Thanks again in advance. :)

Hi Dave,

The issue is that the supermajority of the sancs upgraded early and forced the protoversion up before the mandatory height started, and the GSC contents were being voted on by the wrong chain (because the sancs have communication no matter what chain they are on), then everything worked itself out yesterday now that we have 51% on the 1.5.2.2.  We'll have to consider that on our next mandatory to stop that behavior.   Anyway all the exchanges upgrade to 1.5.2.2 so we don't have fork risk so thats good.

I sent you an estimated payment from my account - please let me know if I didnt send you enough.

Have a good one!

Hi Rob, thanks for the quick answer. I checked my wallet yesterday, but couldn't find your transaction (also several wallet repair tools didn't help).
I then decided to just rebuild the chain from scratch. It always fascinates me, how BBP is able to sync a node with 3+ years of chain data from scratch in less than an hour!  :D
After that I saw your transaction, but otherwise was missing over 1M BBP, which I could resolve with a zapwallettxes=1.

So now everything is fine. Since I was only missing (I think) 3 payments for PODC, you sent me way too much BBP. I nowadays only have my PC and some small vServers running.
I can send you the difference back, or just send them as "Donate to Foundation". As you wish.  ;)

One last (unrelated) question: are there plans to combine the APM with some kind of rebranding? Unfortunately, the world we live in doesn't care much about "religious" things. (To be honest, I myself probably wouldn't buy a "QuranCoin" either^^.)
So maybe this could be a way to bring a bunch of new investors in.

Greetings from Germany.

Hello all,
I see there is some major upgrade in preparation. Certainly sounds exciting.
I just have a quick question: Somehow I haven't received PODC rewards since 3 days. My wallet is always running and also the GSC transmissions went out smoothly. I also frequently checked if I was listed in the Leaderboard (which was always the case).
Is there some interruption in the payments due to the upgrade?

My CPK is BM2e5zvdEf8jcosQdhP6e7NRs8kEMqJy7U.

Thanks in advance and God bless! :)

Please ensure your params are updated to the change in the document (the bbpaddress is now required in the password field).
Ah I see, thanks. I used this page: "https://wiki.biblepay.org/RandomX_Setup" for reference and there it's the other way round. On the "update to randomX" page it's corrected already. :)

Ok, foundation.biblepay.org is now live with merge-mining.

Please upgrade your miner to XMRIG now, otherwise your shares will be rejected.

Our satellite pool has been notified.
Hi, just tried it and I only get "connection reset by peer". Using xmrig 6.0.0 beta (msvc) on  Win10x64.

I tried it out and it works. So far, I've gotten two daily rewards. The login requires 2FA (Google Authenticator, LastPass Authenticator, DUO, etc) which adds a nice layer of security. All the adds & removes were immediate. All the withdrawls showed up on my wallet immediately. The deposits of course require a few confirms which is to be expected. :)  The only thing I wish for is an auto reinvest feature, but I'm happy to visit the fractional sanctuary and add BBP whenever I get to it.
I second all of that, everything works fine. Re-Invest (comparable to an ETF plowing back dividends) would be nice to have, but for now I just log in from time to time and push the payouts back into the fractional sanc amount. :)

One more thing: after a while you get logged out of the forum automatically. When this happens and you click e. g. on "fractional sancs" you get redirected to a page stating that you have to be logged on for that.
I would prefer instead if you would directly be brought to the log in page.
