I see that your computers are hidden. I think it might be that.
I have re-enabled this option now. Will see if it changes anything. Thanks.

Oh, and a question about the amount of BBP per superblock: shouldn't it be about half of what it is? Or is it that high because the network difficulty is low now?

Superblockbudget / blocks = 2.660.579 / 205 = +-13.000 per block.

Hi all,

Is there an issue. My TaskWeight and UTXOWeight are now zero.
I was paid in the first PoDC superblock.

I didn't touch anything because I was scared of this!

Hmmm. I understand UTXO has been difficult sometimes. But I don't get my taskweight = 0

Well, I also have some test-accounts. One of them is this:

Code: [Select]
10:44:50

exec getboincinfo

10:44:52

{
  "Command": "getboincinfo",

  "Last Superblock Budget": 2660579,
  "Last Superblock Payment": 0,
  "Magnitude (One-Day)": 0,
  "Magnitude (One-Week)": 0
}

It's my android-phone, which I had mining on this account a few days ago. It isn't computing now, but I have some RAC on it, so I decided to test if it would still get task/UTXO weights. Well. It doesn't, haha!

It's in the dcc datalist, and my sanctuary sees it, but it hasn't got any weight.

Code: [Select]

22:12:02

exec podcupdate

22:12:07

{
  "Command": "podcupdate",
  "PODCUpdate": "Processed 0 tasks for CPID c852da1a620ad630b70c8ec1ccdee366"
}

09:37:53

exec stakebalance

09:37:53

{
  "Command": "stakebalance",
  "StakeBalance": 8
}

Maybe it has got to do with the fact that it's not solving tasks anymore?

I'm gonna fire up this account on my phone again, and see if it changes things.

Ok I updated to latest wallet then
exec podcupdate true
Now I am 100 100 again.

How to know if I am in the next contract?

Thanks

I see that your computers are hidden. I think it might be that.

Thanks! That did it!
All I did was to disable Rosseta option to hide computers.
Maybe this should be clearly written somewhere in manuals.

Best regards,
Simon

exec testvote and find your CPID, not sure if it works on non Sanc.

OK good because it didn't seem right, there should only be a few people with active cpids. Speaking of which, if both weights are zero, will there still be any hashing on that wallet?

By the way, I was trying minersleep=0 and genproclimit=6 and it would crash after a while.

Hmm, I need help with that as I cant get it to crash, need someone to mine with valgrind on.
Well on the pool though, they can technically mine without a CPID, but the hashes only count it the block gets stale, looks like I need an additional rule in the pool to kick them off the pool if they mine without a CPID.

Lots of fun.

Did the block times improve?
Do we need more hash power on PoBH?

I just analyzed the last few hundred blocks, and no it didnt improve.  Im still seeing 30 hour completion time for 205 blocks (about 20% slow still).

Ive triple and quadruple checked the rule - there is no way the rule is not being used, so let octuple check some things, and if need be, our exchange mandatory can reflect yet another change at a future height to make this right, Ill get to the bottom of this.

I strongly believe our rule kicked in and lowered our diff by 17%, and our block times with CPIDs happened to lag by 17% offseting the change, which is kind of hilarious but I believe it to be the case.

Im committed to fixing the emission system in 10 days - to decrease the DC budget by 20% and at the same time speed the blocks up by 20%.....  My, lots of fun.

Yes, that is the tamper rule.  If the researcher stops researching new tasks for more than 24hours, we interpret that as ' no tasks to check ' (similar to SQL tampering), and the researcher receives 0 task weight.  So they have to keep researching to be in the next superblock.

However the 7 day magnitude on the screen would still linger for a while.

OK, because I think people think they are still mining even though the hash rate is really low. But I think your saying that they might not actually be mining at all.
