Biblepay Mass embracement campaign tour and meetups
« on: February 26, 2018, 06:26:04 AM »
Proposal to undertake an awareness creation campaign for BBP coin.
Hi! Respected ones
My name is Adams (Cryptoshot) on the Biblepay Forum, I am from Ghana, West Africa. I am presenting my first proposal to the community Dub "The Biblepay Conference and meetup tour"
BACKGROUND DESCRIPTION
This is a tour I intend to embark on, with the sole aim to promote  mass embracement of Biblepay as a cryptocurrency. Ghana is one of the favourable home ground for crypto currency growth in Africa as technological expansion among the youth is increasing everyday. The country has an approximate total population of over 27million people with the youth forming the majority cohort.
However, when it comes to Crypto currency awareness, many are still newbies, with majority of the exposed ones  looking for the opportunity to be given proper orientation regarding the best cryptocurrency to invest in. Obviously, there is no argument when it comes to ranking Biblepay as one of the coins with best technology, Social intervention projects and future orientation. This stock of good qualities I believe when properly conveyed to  cryptocurrency investers in my setting, it will definitely catch their attention
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
I intend to embark on a nationwide tour dedicated to the spreading/awareness creation campaign for Biblepay. But for the mean time I am submitting this proposal to undertake at least 2  conferences in two regions namely; the Upper West Region and Upper East Region for the meantime, with the expectation of receiving at least 50 or more  people in each conference, giving  a projected attendance to be over 100people  for both.  Out of this two conferences, one will be targeted at university students as they are predominately the fans of cryptocurrencies. Another conference will be targeted at the working  force namely teachers and other civil servants, as they are now also in the run to search for prospective and better Crypto homes to rest their  fatigue. However, I will also be meeting some social and religious (churches) working groups as a means of introducing the wonderful initiative of Biblepay coin and the need for them to come on board for business partnering. I intend to use 4 weeks ( a month) to roll out this project. This I believe by the grace of the Lord will bring many on board to buy into the idea of Biblepay. I therfore humbly appeal to the community to help me realize my dream of helping the community grow by supporting me with an amount of $1375 USD worth of Biblepay (BBP) coins to enable me execute the activities well. The Detailed budget Description is presented below.
MODE OF ACTIVITY EXECUTION
The conferences shall be organized during weekends for the purpose of recording high attendance.
During each conference, the audience shall be taken through the following;
√ A full presentation on the uniqueness of Biblepay and our Philosophy of giving back to society
√ How to create a Biblepay wallet
√A training on how to trade for Biblepay on the Exchange
√ how Biblepay can become a micro and macro medium of exchange for goods and services

PROOF OF WORK EXECUTION
1. I shall submit to the community a video recording and pictures of all the activities and presentations I execute
2. Publish it on social media for the benefit of the general public
3. Submission of receipts for all transactions
BUDGET DESCRIPTION
Transportation to and from the various Towns= $150
Accommodation during all conferences= $145
Hiring of conference rooms for the 2 meetings= $450
Biblepay T-shirts printing= $210
Refreshment for participants= $180
Camera for video and picture recordings=$150
BBP tokens to comitted participants, as motivation and to show practicability=$40
Contingency=$50
TOTAL BUDGET= $1375 USD
Thank You all for your support towards the promotion of this wonderful community, and I plead for the support and approval from all the noble master Sanctuaries.
Thank You

I think this is a great opportunity. I think beginning an outreach in Africa would be very beneficial, especially when PoDC is implemented and people can "mine" on their cellphones.
I hope this will be the first of many around the world.

I also think this is a nice idea, and a perfect market for Biblepay. But first we should indeed have PoCD implemented, but also our new site should be online. I also think something like a press-kit would be beneficial.

Yes indeed, marketing should come soon. PoDC is scheduled for 15th March?
Website is close, I believe. At least a draft...

I just read this article about crypto-adoptation in Africa:
https://unblock.net/bitcoin-adoption-soars-africa-wake-increasingly-volatile-fiat-currencies/

Not only that, but Christianity is big in Afrika, so I see big opportunities for us in Afrika, especially with CoDC coming up.
I'm happy that you found us Cryptoshot!

Could you maybe tell more about yourself? Maybe give us some verifiable information?

Thank you for the answers you supplied cryptoshot  :) At first I didn't know what to think, but then I saw your radio-discussion on twitter (https://twitter.com/HabibAd49/status/969218647590952961) and that took away my doubt.

So, let's talk a bit more about how we could really make this work. The next - I guess - two weeks are going to be exciting with PODC being implemented. We should make sure that it works flawlessly in 'unbanked mode', so you can demonstrate to people how to get started mining BBP using only a smartphone.

I hope we also have a mobile wallet by then... But people could also mine into a paper wallet at start, and then move to a mobile wallet when that comes out. Or - of course - if they own their own PC or laptop, they could use that.

Could you tell us a bit about how much (android) smartphones are being used in Ghana (especially among university students)?

Thanks a lot @jaapgvk for the verification done.
I must say am happy for the show of concern you have exhibited. I must also say I will  do my best to promote BBP here in Ghana and Africa at large, given the green light.
Since my exposure to BBP, I knew very well before we could do more to capture the unbanked, then we have to make the coin a conveniently adopted coin through the use of smartphones. Since majority of crypto users are basically dealing with smartphones. Thus why I re-ignited the mobile wallet topic, and I think since then till now, progress is been witnessed. The buttressing to matters is the existence PODC on the pipeline.
Now back to your inquiry  about the usage of smartphones among university students in Ghana.
A research conducted by
"Albert Akanlisikum Akanferi
Lecturer, Department of Information Technology Studies,
University of Professional  Studies, UPSA Ghana"
Indicated that out of a total of 1000 sampled University students that were interviewed on the usage of smartphones,
about 92%  (933) out of the number were using smartphones". This is to indicate that, the use of smartphones among the Youth of Ghana is quite undescribable. Recently, Ghana was ranked as the country with the highest number of her youth owning a smartphone and also using social media in Africa. By so doing I hope to do my best to convey this opportunity to my Ghanaian people and Africa at large, with emphasis also placed on our churches.
Thank you very much and I count on the support of all.

You are very welcome  :D I also read this article: https://news.bitcoin.com/ghana-interested-bitcoin/ It's almost a year old, but I think it echos the paper you posted yourself: young people own a lót of smartphones and interest in crypto is growing. That's great!

My mother actually does a lot of charity work in Ghana (building schools mostly), so I already know a little about your country.

Anyway: I'm curious about the input we can get from the rest of the community. If it was up to me, I'd want you on the road for Biblepay :)

Oh, and btw: how many shirts do you think you can get for 180 dollars?

With $180, the number of T-shirts I think get with it, is about 50 T-shirts. With one T-shirt at a price of about $3.5.

I've been talking to Cryptoshot for a while now, been verifying his accounts, and also have had a video-conference with him to make sure that he is who he says he is. And I am so sure that I will vouch for his legitimacy with my own BBP. I think that this proposal is a good PR-opportunity for Biblepay to start growing in Ghana (and Afrika in general).

I think that Afrika and Biblepay are a very nice match. First of all: Christianity is BIG is most of Afrika (Ghana included). Besides that, certain recent technologies have certain proporties that makes them able to propagate fast and wide in these countries. Two of them are mobile (smart)phones and crypto.

While a lot of people are poor, one thing is certain: it's almost essential to have a mobile phone in Afrika these days, especially when you are part of a young cohort (see also the research paper that Cryptoshot has posted in this topic). Besides that, more an more African people are beginning to see the potential of crypto, especially since cryptos are borderless protocols. So what seems like little value in the western world, can have big value in the poorer countries, and give people a chance to change their life-perspective.

All these things combined play nicely with the newest addition to our coin: earning BBP with a smartphone. With the implementation of PoBH, it has become possible to earn BBP with nothing more than a smartphone with Boinc installed and a Biblepay-address.

At the moment, we don't have a mobile wallet yet, but we've been searching for developers, and I've been in contact with Coinomi for a possible implementation of Biblepay in their wallet.

All in all, I think Cryptoshot has found us with great timing, and that this proposal is a chance for us to grow :)

If you see the same value as I do in this proposal, please vote 'yes' with the following command (which you can of course check in the pool).
