Not sure what I'm doing wrong, if anything, but the client is constantly freezing up. I've had to force close it a few times and restart and nothing has changed. Ideas?

Hmm sounds strange, is it the windows version you are running?
Suppose you could try reindex and see if that could potentially help with your issue.
Perhaps would be good if you would PM Rob unless he sees this post of yours.

My wallet frozen too. A few day before, I sync but wallet freeze at block 253400. I tried reindex, erase chain, upgrade to newest version, but still not sync. :(

So if you have tried to upgrade to latest version and biblepay wallet still dont work for you i would say make some backup of your wallet.dat in %appdata% / biblepay folder then you can just uninstall the entire wallet and the biblepay folder at appdata directory then install latest version of biblepay wallet and insert your old wallet.dat file so you dont loose your accumulated tokens.
Thats just an idea , but it would be intresting to know the reason your biblepay wallet dont sync so i recommend that you contact Rob, he is the main developer and knows his things, he can for sure give you some bucket list for debugging.
