I think this is a big step forward in the evolution of the BiblePay algorithm. Thank you for all your hard work Rob, and I'll absolutely fund this.

I have tried some basic SEO things in the past, and I know how difficult it is to get your page anywhere near the top-10 on google, so it's very nice to hear you're doing this for a living. Maybe you could also help with the development of the new biblepay.org site?

I'll ask around for someone with CSS-skills :)

Okay, I found a CSS professional. Do you know the best way to contact fox123me?

Great!

I watched your latest video, and I think this can become a great series. I'd suggest to focus on newcomers first (videos about buying BBP, setting up a miner and mine on the pool etc), because I think they'll probably be the least tech-savvy, and will need a good first impression from our project.

I do have some reservations about the intro-screen. It could be a little more professional in my taste. So my offer still stands on getting a professional one designed by a friend of mine (whose daily job it is).

About the pay: I really don't know what should be fair. I guess your pricerange sounds okay :)

Oh, and I still don't really know about the hourly that you ask, since in my view, this project should also be seen as something you do (partly) voluntarily.

But that doesn't mean I don't think you're worth it! I think you're doing a great job!

Great work! Did anyone reply yet?

I don't know about paying large amounts to get listed on some job-markets, if the job can also get done without those expenditures.

I'm not an expert in advertising at all, so I can't really comment on the questions about cost, but I like the suggestions on the subreddits we should advertise on.

Advertising on christian and charity subreddits could absolutely be tried in my opinion. I can imagine there are also crypto-enthusiasts to be found there.

Is there a way to get feedback (amount of clicks etc) when you advertise on reddit? We could try a bread campaign to start with, with a statistically fair amount of advertisements, and see which subreddits get the most clicks.

Also: do we need a banner for this?

I'm really impressed that you built that faucet from scratch! I'm not a programmer, but I can imagine that a lot of time went into coding that.

I'm pro funding this, because it looks professional and encourages users to come back again and again (because of the randomness factor in payout).

Beautifully done!

One suggestion, onder the header 'Import address command' it says:

./biblepay-cli importprivkey

Of course that's the linux command, maybe you could add some clarification for windows users also?

I need more information, because I think it's a lot of BBP.

Like: would it be a permanent banner in a prominent position? And how many pageviews do you get? Or: how many people are mining on your pool and what are your expectations for the future?

Archived Proposals / Re: Togo BLOOM PR
« on: December 24, 2017, 02:27:12 AM »
OK guys I'm a newbie, so forgive me if this is a dumb question, but where can I see this actual proposal? Or is the first post actually the proposal?

PS- jaapgvk I did the PR for Factom (this is April). They are currently #60 on coinmarketcap. I got them into Fortune and Reuters, among other bitcoin pubs :)

PR is essential to the success of a crypto currency. It's value is dependent purely upon the perception the public has of the coin and it's utility. Most of the public has no idea how any of this works, and for a coin like this, it's imperative we find ways to get it in front of mega churches and other large Christian populations in a way lay people can relate to it for it to grow quickly. I'm thinking 95% of the population will never understand how the blockchain and cryptocurrencies work like most people on this forum do. You'll see more about my thoughts on this in my PR proposal (once I figure out how to submit one).

Welcome April :)

I took a look at your linkedin and I'm interested in your view on the PR we could to for Biblepay. I agree that most people will probably never know how a blockchain actually works, and that our PR should be aimed at laymen (and that our coin can also be used by them in a straightforward manner).

To answer your question about proposals: you can find the actual proposals at pool.biblepay.org. If you click on the tabs 'governance -> proposal list', you will find all our current proposals.

To submit your own proposal, you can follow this guide made by Togo:

http://wiki.biblepay.org/Create_Sanctuary_2#SUBMIT_PROPOSAL

If there are things still unclear, I'll try and help you as best as I can :)

Togo, do you have any examples of the PR April did in other crypto-related projects?

Already voted 'yes' btw, good work!

After the dialogue we had on bitcointalk, and in seeing the added value this script has for (the future of) biblepay, I have decided to vote 'yes' on this proposal. I also want to incentivise future development of the script.

I wonder where this project will be a year from now :)

West, I think your voice and articulation is perfect for these videos!

I have experience in video-editing and am a part-time audio-engineer. So if you need any help or advice in that department, just hit me up!

With - for example - a reasonably priced usb condenser mic, this will instantly get a pro vibe with little effort. But it kinda depends on your workflow.

Oh, and maybe someone can make a 'biblepay intro screen' we can use for the videos. I have friends in design. Maybe I can ask one of them to create a short intro with a simple single.
