OK, but my computer went on a fork three days AFTER I updated to 1.5.2.2, and was receiving PODC rewards during those three days.

Regardless of what happened, you can read my original reply to you in my first reply to you.  It covers both conditions.

We did not have a fork after the cutover height in our latest version.

** The Last Days Remnant will Teleport **

I remember hearing a couple testimonies of Sundar Selvaraj teleporting from an airport bathroom (to Britain) and I think one other place.  I also heard of Henry Gruver teleporting.
Mike444 recently had a dream of last days saints teleporting (to be able to evangelize efficiently) and he mentioned the place in the book of Acts where Philip did this, here it is:

Okay, so by owning a sanctuary, there seems to be a risk that the return on BBP may not be enough to offset the sponsorship cost. There's nothing with this arrangement, just wanted to be clear on the consequences of APM.

Yeah exactly, and the side benefit is once we get our sell wall sold off, the sancs will have a very good reason to buy BBP (to continue their own rewards).  We will probably also see more of an average once we get the POOS banning and the reduced number of sancs down to the 95% service level (of the sponsoring vs active count).

Hello again. Quick questions about sancs:
I had to cancel the vServer where my sanc was running and therefore tried to move it to another one. This took much longer than I thought (mostly because I had to wait almost 2 days for the collateral to become available again after removing the sanc off the masternode.conf).
Now I finally managed to get it up and running and yesterday I sent the orphan payment (via PayPal).
Question 1:
My Sanc is now listed under the DIP3-Sanctuaries Tab as "Enabled, POOS_BANNED". How long does it usually take until the payment gets associated with my sanc? I copied the orphan ID into the payment info.

Question 2:
On the remote wallet the mnsync status says it's synced, but the masternode status says "Waiting for ProTx to appear on-chain". I upgraded it according to the "Create Sanctuary 2" help page. Is this how it's supposed to be, or do I have to do anything else?

Thanks again in advance. :)

Hi Dave,
Its great to see you are hanging in there with us.

On #1, I recommend emailing Todd at:  Todd Finklestone <[email protected]
Just to tell him what you sent via paypal, and your sanc pub key.  He usually updates the bio within 24 hours.
Once the bio is updated, biblepay will update within 10 minutes.  Then it will immediately go from 700 to 0 (POOS ban level).

On #2,  that sounds normal.  As long as you did paste the blsprivkey in the biblepay.conf on the sanc.  Just check it again now, because I noticed they usually come up about 30 minutes after I start them.   But dont worry because you have til 220,000 before you can be POSE banned anyway.  If its not up by tomorrow please post and we can try to debug commands.

Have a good one.

Okay, so 45 sanctuaries are enabled status and rest are poos_banned with score of 700? the ones with poos_banned are rewarded 1 BBP?

After block 220k, will sanctuaries receive regular payment as long as their status is enabled?

Does automatic price mooning (APM) impact how much sanctuaries receive? I recall the block reward goes to 1 BBP? I wasn't sure if sanctuaries also fall to 1 BBP.

-> Yes.  Yes.

-> Yes, as long as the LLMQ quorums actually succeed, and chainlocks succeed, and the non paying sancs get POSE banned, then the reward will increase for all the paying ones.  We have to take it step by step and see if the 80 non paying ones get banned at the 800 level, then drop out.  Theoretically they should drop out once they get fully banned.

->    Yes, it does affect both RX miners and Sancs.  Because the coinbase emission drops to 7 in the money-saving-mode.  Then that is split accordingally.

We are in APM money saving mode right now I see.

It looks like we had One sanctuary drop out (now we have 124).

EDIT:  PS:  I am working on making a list of fractional sanctuary sponsored orphans.  Ill update when I get that working.

I still don't understand.  I updated the wallet on 8/22, which then forked on 8/25.  This was days BEFORE the mandatory height, on 8/29 or 8/30.  I actually started trying to figure out if it was on a fork before the mandatory height had been reached by starting the wallet on another computer on 8/29.

Because we didn't enforce the sanctuary governance version, and 51% of the sancs upgraded early, you went on a fork before 217K.

The sanctuaries drive a hard consensus for the daily GSC block - making them an additional decision maker in our chain (in addition to POW).

Let me look into that.  There might be, as long as Todd hasnt given the child to another sanc already.

EDIT:    CHECKING

So first of all your child was sponsored by someone, as it looks like all 44 are now sponsored by sancs.
So I did cancel your child sponsorship as of 8-30 and I refunded the 152,000 back to your balance.

To make this system simpler, I removed the Cameroon-One orphans from the sponsorchild page, and I will just leave the SAI children in there, so we can have a more straightforward system.  We will make Cameroon-one strictly for the sancs.

Sorry about that, I completely forgot we have one cameroon-one orphan sponsored by a real person.

Looking at everything now, it looks like between fractional sancs and regular sancs, everything is correct.

We do need to add the ability to cancel a child.  Ill add a todo list item to Cancel a sponsored monthly child (that is sponsored by the foundation).

I updated to 1.5.22 on 8/22, and and was receiving PODC rewards through 8/25.  Then they stopped, along with the automatic GSC transmissions, though I sent them manually.  Yesterday, I started the wallet on a second computer, and discovered that the first had been on a fork since some time after the last PODC reward on 8/25, around the same time that davebbp said that he stopped receiving PODC rewards.  The second computer showed everything through the 8/25 PODC reward, but none of the later manual GSC transmissions.  One thing that seemed strange to me is that the first computer, the one on a fork, reported a larger number of sanctuaries, around 170, than the second computer, the one that isn't (I think) on a fork.  It also looked like blocks were regularly being generated on the fork, though the count was lower on the fork, which is how I finally concluded that the first computer was on a fork, and the second one wasn't on a (different) fork, by comparing the block counts with the block explorers.  In the end, I shut down both wallets, copied all the data from the second computer to the first and restarted the wallet on the first computer to fix things.

Why would an up-to-date wallet end up on a fork three days after updating?

1) I agree first of all that a *non-updated wallet* on the old chain before the mandatory cutover height should not have forked til *after* 217K.  That is something we will definitely prevent in the future by enforcing the version of the sancs up to the cutover height.

2)  On your question, Why would an up-to-date wallet end up on a fork 3 days *after* the mandatory height (updating later):
This is defintely possible in the dash world.  Here is how that happens.  If you accept a block on the main chain after the mandatory height on a non-upgraded wallet, these wallets will never erase the dirty block index flags without an -erasechain=1 (or an exec reassesschains command).  So basically at that point, the other wallets will ddos you (because you are then sending them invalid block headers).  So thats why we always need to erasechain if we upgrade late.

On the missing funds feel free to paste your CPK and estimated amount lost and I will give you a tip.

Also, if we want to continue sponsoring the same children but through a sanctuary... is there a migration process?

If we have a fractional sanc, when is a sponsorship due and when is payment taken out? If the funds are in the frac sanc, are the just the funds needed withdrawn or the entire frac sanc total is withdrawn?

2700 BBP
On the fractional sancs, we only pay a net reward, so the child dues is taken out at the same time of the reward.

Since ROI is negative right now, you should see your fractional sanc balance decrease daily (until we finally get these pesky 75 sancs who have not sponsored children POSE banned).

The (child deduction amount) is also shown on the "Fractional Sancs" overview page - please see Revenue and Expense there.  We also show the child deduction amount in brackets later in the details of the reward.

** Shalom **

We are now in the Jewish month of Elul, (the period of Teshuva), which precedes the fall feasts of the Bible. It is a time of reflection and repentance as we come closer to the Day of Atonement. The Hebrew for "repentance" is a phrase which means "returning to the answers." Repenting is returning, doing a 180 degree turn and heading home to the Father. But first, like the prodigal son, we need to become aware of our sin and confess it. It's a great opportunity to earnestly repent for the sin we see in our own lives, in our households, in our communities and in our nations.
