PODC Transactions
« on: March 21, 2018, 10:34:59 am »
Hi all

For about 3 days now I have had no PODC transactions in or out of my wallet, the only thing I have done since this started to happens was upgrade to the new version 1.1.1.2

Are we having some issues or do you think it is something at my end.
I still show as helping out with Rosetta and I am a member of the Biblepay team

Alright, let's try and sort this out.

I've also updated to 1.1.1.2. and don't have any problems, so let's see if it can be something else.

So you haven't had any 'PODC updates' since you have updated?
What happens when you type in 'exec podcupdate' in your debug console (you can find it within the 'Tools' tab)?

Hi    I entered what you posted and this came out. Also I was having this issue with the previous version and then updated hoping it would solve the issue.

{
  "Command": "podcupdate",
  "PODCUpdate": "Unable to create PODC UTXO::Balance (17852.00) less than target UTXO (50001.00)."
}

If you don't have enough stakebalance it won't stake what you required of it. Try adding utxoamount= 17850 to the biblepay.conf file and restart the wallet.

Yes, he meant the 'utxoamount= 17850' line.
Do you have that amount of BBP in your wallet? (I think the BBP needs to be in your wallet for at least 6 blocks.)

Yes that is the amount in my wallet, the last transaction from any PODC  was on the 18th and a small transaction of 50 that I manually sent from my Biblepay account to my wallet on the 21st to check if my address was still functioning.

What do you get when you use the 'exec stakebalance' command? That gives the maximum amount you can stake (if I'm right). Y

You need your utxoamount to not exceed that.

Hmm... That seems fine, you don't need to alter to that amount. I'm going to ask if someone else can also come and help you.

Could you post your 'exec getboincinfo' in the mean time?

Hi there.

Perhaps change utxoamount to a little less so that your wallet can "afford" to pay the PODC fee.
Maybe try

Code: [Select]
utxoamount=17500
That gives you some wiggle room to pay the transaction fee (which I think you get back...)

Ok, then close wallet, restart. When you restart do you need to enter your password?

Once restarted go to the debug console and type

Code: [Select]
exec podcupdate true
And please paste any output.
Good luck

I have altered it to the amount suggested, yes I do get asked on start up for password and I manually unlock the wallet as well.
Below is the code you asked for.

{
  "Command": "podcupdate",
  "PODCUpdate": "Unable to create PODC UTXO::Balance (17872.00) less than target UTXO (50001.00)."
}

Am I doing something wrong when entering the amount, I manually added it here ?

addnode=dnsseed.biblepay-explorer.org

genproclimit=3

poolport=80

workerid=madmurphy1

pool=http://pool2.biblepay.org

gen=1

utxoamount=17500

Ok I found the similar problem on the Bitcointalk thread

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2388064.msg32336643#msg32336643

It sounds like files maybe not being read properly. Maybe you need to

1. Backup your wallet.dat file
2. If you ant extra security, save your private keys
3. First try cleaning your log files as suggested in the above link.
4. If that doesn't work, try a clean install

Failing that, you need Rob to help directly
