« on: February 18, 2018, 01:24:22 am »
Previous Advertising Round 2: http://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?topic=68.msg987#msg987

I periodically advertise/market BiblePay in the Bitcointalk forums,
if you'd like to help please bump/quote my posts!

I made these posts from January 1st through February 18th

10 hours work * $20/hour = $200 divided by $0.003775 per BBP = 52,980 BBP

I am requesting 52,980 BBP from the PR budget

Production Proposals / Language Translations - Bitcointalk Original Post
« on: February 16, 2018, 12:36:43 am »
We need to reach the globe with our message, and since our message is only in English we cannot reach everyone.

I am requesting funding for translators to translate our Announcement Post in Bitcointalk

I have researched which languages have subforums in Bitcointalk
and have created a post on Reddit recruiting translators and have posted about it in Discord and on Bitcointalk.

I have worked with a few translators so far and have negotiated payments.

Reddit Post: https://www.reddit.com/r/BiblePay/comments/7qmt6m/bitcointalk_main_post_language_translations/

Ive had 9 translations of our Bitcointalk Original Post done so far,
and we still have 13 more languages to go,

Ive so far spent a few hours doing the initial research, advertising,
communicating with interested parties, checking work, making posts and paying for the work.
The rate is average $25 per translation

I am requesting $275 for translation payments (past and future) [$25 per translation for 11 translations
(There are 3 potential translations coming up that have had interest expressed plus the current 9 already done)]
and 6 hours work at $20/hr ($120)

$275 + $120 = $330 at $0.003761 per BBP = 105,025 BBP

Since finding experienced blockchain developers is actually very hard, (My Previous Recruiting work: http://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?topic=85.0)

I propose that we go through the githubs of all the cryptocurrency projects and contact each contributor one by one.
Basically contacting everyone who is already a blockchain developer.

===

I would work my way down the list of coinmarketcap: https://coinmarketcap.com/
and then find a way to contact each developer (email, twitter, blog, etc) [Note: Github doesnt have a messaging system]

I dont have a time estimate on this, its an unknown, Ill report back as I do a couple hours here and there.
Im not sure how effective this will be either, we may contact hundreds of devs and only get 1 or 2 that are interested, but it might be totally worth it.

Its very important that we find interested developers to work on BiblePay features, security, bugs, etc
especially since Rob right now is basically a solo developer, if he gets ill or hit by a bus, the project could potentially stagnate, lose momentum or lose value.

Ive also thought about finding failed crypto projects, but I assume most of those are just clones of coins and probably dont have higher quality devs, but its another option to think about.

Ill probably document everything in a google excel sheet

My Previous Reddit and Twitter work Sept-Dec:

===

About 1 hour of work a day for 30 days,
30 hours work at $20/hour = $600 / $0.004574 per BBP = 131,176 BBP

I am requesting 131,176 BBP from the PR Budget

QUESTIONS:

1. Did we want to spend any money on featuring job ads / paying for job ads?
$400-800 to be highlight/featured for current posted job ads for a month
$1000 to post ads in other job boards

2. Are there any job sites I missed?

3. Should I attempt to poach developers on other cryptocurrency projects?

4. Other than job boards, what other ways can we find skilled developers?

Z. Any other feedback, concerns, ideas, etc?

=====

NOTE: A month from now we should post all the job ads again, most expire after a month

Production Proposals / Bitcointalk Forum Advertising
« on: January 16, 2018, 05:16:21 pm »
I propose that we place a banner ad on the Bitcointalk forum for ~8-11 days
(but wait until we have an exchange back online)

Bitcointalk currently has 1,686,605 Members
and is now ranked a top 1,000 website globally by Alexa

===

I noticed the Bitcointalk Forum has ads every now and then inbetween thread posts,
there is an auction held by an admin every ~8-11 days,
there are 9 slots, minimum bid is 0.02 BTC, bids can only be multiples of 0.02 BTC

Current Round #233: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2716553.0
https://bitcointalk.org/adrotate.php?adinfo
https://bitcointalk.org/adrotate.php?adstats

Each slot gets 2-4+ million impressions over 8-11 days

===

Previous Winning Bids:

Auction #232
4 0.14 ChipMixer
2 0.12 Blocklancer
3 0.10 Aengus

Auction #231
3 0.14 FortuneJack
4 0.14 ChipMixer
2 0.12 Aengus

So this would come out to ~1.5k-2k for one slot for 2-4 million impressions over 8-11 days

===

The banner ad has to be HTML/CSS (and not just an image file),

Our Logo Design files: https://www.reddit.com/r/BiblePay/comments/7asnaa/new_coin_logo_zip_of_images/

BiblePay Colors: Red (Maroon) #971b20, Yellow (Gold) #e2ae24, White #ffffff

Potential Banner Ad Contents:
BiblePay Symbol and Name
"10% of mined coins go to Charity"
"Masternodes now live"

Potential Links:
Main Website: http://biblepay.org/
Bitcointalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2388064.0
Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/BiblePay/
Twitter: https://twitter.com/BiblePay

===

Current Banner Ad (In Progress):

fox123me:
http://fozy.altervista.org/bbp-banner.html

The previous banner by fox123me was rejected for being one large image,
so he changed it to be just a small image for the logo/name
and the rest is CSS, he requested help with the CSS though, hes totally new to it

Reddit thread:
https://www.reddit.com/r/BiblePay/comments/7ndg5g/bitcointalk_banner_ad_need_htmlcss_skills/

===

QUESTIONS:

1. What should the banner say? What should it look like?

2. Should we have multiple links?

3. Anyone with CSS skills that could help?
3a. What is a good way to find someone with CSS skills?

4. Is the cost worth the amount of impressions?

Z. Any feedback? concerns? ideas? Anything I missed?

7
Production Proposals / Reddit Advertising
« on: January 16, 2018, 04:16:07 pm »
I propose that we run a Reddit ad targeting specific cryptocurrency subreddits for a month
(starting after an exchange goes back up for us)

Reddit Advertising: https://about.reddit.com/advertise/

Max bid price for 1,000 impressions can be in range of $0.20 - $100, default they fill in is $2.00

The ad is just a picture, a headline and a link or text post

The picture would be our logo

===

Im not sure about the headline, this is my idea so far:
main features, call to action and emoji to make it stick out more

✝ BiblePay (BBP) ✝ | New Cryptocurrency | 10% Charity | Masternodes | ASIC-Resistant | CPU Mining Only | Already Sponsoring 180+ Orphans Monthly | Find out more!

Some emojis we could use: ✝ (looks like forum doesnt support the 3 other emojis I linked, another cross, praying and halo)

===

These are the subreddits I would recommend targeting:

Altcoin Investors/Traders:
https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/ ---- 482,858 readers - 43,501 users here now
https://www.reddit.com/r/altcoin/ -----------------   47,860 readers -     535 users here now

Other Cryptocurrencies:
https://www.reddit.com/r/dashpay/ ------ 18,710 readers - 2,660 users here now
https://www.reddit.com/r/vertcoin/ ------- 32,056 readers - 2,649 users here now
https://www.reddit.com/r/groestlcoin/ ---   4,793 readers -    111 users here now

(We could target other masternode, asic resistant and cpu only coins as well)

Not sure about:

Day Traders / ICOs
https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoMarkets/ --- 105,140 readers  - 3,111 users here now
https://www.reddit.com/r/icocrypto/ -----------   29,886 readers -     329 users here now

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Cash:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/ -------- 671,955 readers - 28,456 users here now
https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/ ------------- 159,454 readers -    5,186 users here now

In future we could also target christian and charity/nonprofit subreddits
(the headline/messaging would need to be totally different though)

===

Examples of my previous advertising in Bitcointalk threads towards miners, traders and investors:
http://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?topic=68.0

===

QUESTIONS:

1. What is a good max bid price for 1,000 impressions?
(default value they give is $2.00 per 1,000 impressions)

1a. For Reddit is there a way to see what other people are bidding? I couldnt find it, but I know google adwords somewhat shows that information.

2. Should we do a link post or a text post? (a text post could have multiple links)
2a. If a link post, what link should we send people to? (the main website? main bitcointalk post?)

3. What subreddits should we target?

4. What should the headline be?

5. How much should we spend a day for 30 days?
(default value they give is $20 a day, and it can go up to 20% more, so $24 a day * 30 = $720 for a month
which would be 360k impressions assuming $2 bid price per 1,000 impressions)

Z. Anything else I missed, should consider? Any other feedback, concerns, etc?

Archived Proposals / Togo Advertising Round 2
« on: December 31, 2017, 01:38:01 am »
This is a proposal for all advertising/marketing I did after my last proposal December 16th: http://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?topic=47.0
this time Ive gone through and documented it all, if wanted I can also document the previous advertising Ive done if youd like me to.

Ive still been targeting people who are already interested in cryptocurrencies.

I spend time going through the bitcointalk altcoin sub forums looking for relevant threads where I can advertise BiblePay,
below are all the 61 posts I have made in bitcointalk and on reddit and on two articles,
I have about ~9 more bitcointalk threads I havent posted in yet (I like to spread the advertising out so I dont spam the sub sections)

I believe this advertising is growing the number of miners and investors.

If anyone would like to bump/quote any of my posts that would be awesome!

Also if there is any feedback on the wording/structure of the message I send with my advertising, please send it my way!

===============================

Bitcointalk:
~20 altcoin mining threads
~21 altcoin discussion threads
~8 altcoin speculation threads
~1 altcoin pool thread
~9 more threads I havent posted in yet but will in the next 24 hours

Bitcointalk has 1.5 million members

=====

Reddit:
~ 5 /r/Cryptocurrency posts
~ 4 /r/altcoin posts

/r/CryptoCurrency has ~350k subscribers

My favorite ad: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2479595.msg27123176#msg27123176

=====

I am charging for 8 hours work
- browsing periodically through many many pages of threads and finding and saving relevant ones
- periodically posting to saved threads (periodically to prevent spam)
- tweaking the message based on what the original poster was looking for

In total I advertised in 61 relevant unique places, reaching many many eyeballs, with 9 more places I will advertise in the next 24 hours.

8 hours work * $20/hour = $160 divided by $0.003785 per BBP = 42,272 BBP

I am requesting 42,272 BBP from the PR Budget.

Archived Proposals / Togo MasterNodes.Pro Listing
« on: December 17, 2017, 06:20:51 pm »
MasterNodes.Pro is the #1 search results when googling for "masternode coins" and "masternode list"
https://masternodes.pro/

This should bring us even more exposure to investors looking for masternode coins!

The fee to be listed for 1 year is $400 in BTC at address [REDACTED]

(2 hour)
- filling out submission form
- talking with owners on Discord
- converting BiblePay to Bitcoin and then sending Bitcoin to address
(I may use my own Bitcoin to speed us getting listed instead of having to wait 2 weeks)

===

I am asking for 89,320 BBP from the P2P budget

2 hour work at $20/hour = $40 + $400 listing fee + potential $20 transaction fee = $460
divided by $0.005150 BBP price = ~89,320 BBP

EDIT: Removed the bitcoin address I sent to

Production Proposals / Togo BLOOM PR
« on: December 17, 2017, 01:21:55 pm »
We were contacted by April from BLOOM (Be Love! Orphan Outreach Missions)
a Christian Nonprofit that sponsors orphans and much more!
http://www.bloomworldwide.org/

I was sent her initial email by Rob and asked to contact her further (since Rob is really busy)
I have since explained BiblePay and answered emails, and even met up with her in person!

Not only is BLOOM a christian nonprofit that I believe could be our 2nd Charity,
April herself does PR work! and is interested to do PR work for us!

===

(3 hours)
- writing emails back and forth and explaining BiblePay and answering questions
- tweet about BLOOM and sidebar addition to Reddit about BLOOM

(3 hours)
- meeting in person over coffee and building relationship further

(4 hours)
- future work over the next month helping BLOOM with proposals, wallet setup, questions, etc
- and coordinating about marketing of BLOOM in our social media

===

I am requesting 47,203 BBP from the PR (Public Relations) budget

10 hours work at $20/hr = $200 divided by $0.004237 per BBP = ~47,203 BBP

The current expected PR budget for the next month is about 1,750,000 BBP

(I am increasing my rate from $15 to $20 per hour since Webster says I am worth 3x more!)

Archived Proposals / Togo Twitter & Reddit & Advertising
« on: December 16, 2017, 12:12:56 am »
4 months ago in August, I created the BiblePay Twitter and BiblePay Sub Reddit

https://twitter.com/BiblePay
https://www.reddit.com/r/BiblePay/

- I read every bitcointalk post and post updates and news to Twitter and Reddit
- I also periodically go through the past few days of bitcointalk posts and string together different topics that I post about and organize on the Reddit (and keep updated)

There are actually quite a few people who do not read the bitcointalk thread and only read the twitter and or the reddit. They help give people information into more digestable pieces. And the documentation of topics on Reddit do not get lost in the main thread and can live on and be expanded upon and reach more eyeballs who may help out.

===
REDDIT
https://www.reddit.com/r/BiblePay/

- setup design/style and uploaded logo and banner
- documented and organized major topics on the sidebar
- I answer as many questions that are posted that I can, and if I can't I post them into the bitcointalk thread
- I have created 76 reddit posts (and have kept quite a few updated with new information)
- currently has 105 subscribers
- 28,352 page views

Traffic:

I cant take full credit for all the traffic, since the Windows and Linux mining guides are on the reddit which people click on from the website, etc.
(I did write both of those guides and keep them updated though)

Windows Mining Guide has had 4.9k views
Linux Mining Guide has had 2.6k views
Combined about 7.5k views

===
TWITTER
https://twitter.com/BiblePay

- I analyze, research and use popular hashtags
- try my best to always add relevant emojis and to add images to posts
- Ive posted 76 tweets and 10 retweets (most retweets are of Compassion International)
- I have followed 74 relevant twitter users and liked 373 relevant twitter posts
- currently have 114 followers

Statistics:
1,614 total profile visits
108,126 total tweet impressions ("delivered to a Twitter accounts timeline")

===

Assuming I spent an average 1 hour a day doing the above over 4 months, that is 120 hours

Going forward I will continue doing this advertising/news-reporting/note-taking/documentation work for Twitter and Reddit and I will bill it quarterly

===
ADVERTISING/MARKETING

In addition, I also did advertising/marketing of BiblePay in:
- bitcointalk altcoin discussion and altcoin mining threads ---> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1087591;sa=showPosts;start=20
- /r/CryptoCurrency and /r/altcoin ---> https://www.reddit.com/user/togoshige
- Steemit articles ---> https://steemit.com/@togoshige/comments
- multiple popular Discords (Spacestation, ONEX Capital, CoinSheet, MasterNodesPro, Strape.come (Richard Heart), Dash Nation)
- in comments section of many online articles in top 2 pages of google results
- in answers of multiple Quora questions

I focused on keywords: "cpu mining", "masternode", "asic resistance", "christian cryptocurrency"
and multiple variations of those keywords, going through the forums and top google results
I also would try to jump into DASH and Vertcoin threads if I could

Ive spent about 20 hours doing the above

There is not much more work I can do advertising since I have already hit all the top relevant articles and threads
Going forward, I will still try to sneak in BiblePay where I can but probably wont be billing for it at all

===

I am requesting 517,000 BBP from the P2P budget

120 hours Twitter & Reddit + 20 hours Advertising = 140 hours at $15/hour = $2,100
divided by $0.004062 per BBP = ~517,000 BBP

The P2P budget this month will roughly be around 1.75 million BBP (so this proposal will be about 30% of the budget)

Archived Proposals / Togo Backup Explorer and Guide
« on: December 15, 2017, 10:02:48 pm »
When happy_merchant's Block Explorer (biblepay.inspect.network) stopped working,
I stepped up publicly and created a new one:
http://explorer.biblepay.org:3001/

I got beat to the punch by Alex and am running the Backup Explorer
I also created and published a full guide to setting one up
(interestingly the guide currently has 140 views and shows up in top 1-6 results on google searches)

===

(5 hours)
- research, setup and configuration of Iquidus Block Explorer and setup on AWS
- creation of Block Explorer Guide for future use
https://www.reddit.com/r/BiblePay/comments/7elm7r/iquidus_block_explorer_guide/

AWS (Amazon Web Services) 1CPU 2GB RAM server costs $12/month and I have been running it for 24 days so far

(1 hour)
- Moving forward I will transfer the block explorer to a $5/month 1GB RAM Vultr server
- Once the DNS address is updated I will turn off the AWS server
- I will also add the current config file to the guide (with credentials redacted)

After this I will bill the Vultr server and very minimal maintenance quarterly

===

I am requesting 23,171 BBP from the IT Budget.

6 hours work at $15/hr = $90 + $12/month AWS = $102 at $0.004402 BBP = ~23,171 BBP

Archived Proposals / Togo Sanctuary Guide and Testing
« on: December 15, 2017, 03:45:57 pm »
Starting in October I helped Rob test masternodes (sanctuaries) and helped him improve his original guide:
Original: http://wiki.biblepay.org/index.php?title=Create_Masternode&oldid=2131
Latest: http://wiki.biblepay.org/Create_Sanctuary

Throughout that time I posted and updated my own step by step notes in the forum for others
and just recently combined everything into a wiki that I published:
http://wiki.biblepay.org/Create_Sanctuary_2

===

(12 hours)
- helped improve the original masternode guide
- testing, doing research, asking questions and giving feedback
- read, analyzed and documented all the DASH masternode guides
- writing step by step notes to help others
http://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?topic=16.msg151#msg151
http://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?topic=16.msg792#msg792
- pinpointed the missing RPC Port issue
http://forum.biblepay.org/index.php?topic=16.msg207#msg207

(4 hours)
- testing retirement coins
- testing ecommerce

(12 hours)
- the creation, editing and testing of the new step by step Create_Sanctuary_2 wiki guide
- dug up, tested and added the Swap File solution (credit to Rob and inblue), saves operators $5/month per masternode
http://wiki.biblepay.org/Create_Sanctuary_2

(12 hours)
- future maintenance/updating of the 2nd guide throughout the next month as I incorporate more feedback and questions
- I will also comb through the original sanctuary test thread and add any additional information I missed
- I will also add some more proposal documentation

Priceless
- making the masternode setup process easy and painless,
especially if you are new to masternodes or new to linux and or cryptocurrencies in general!

Feedback:
"Good hacking man" -Rob
"Yeah, Togo, I used your guide and Robs" -616westwarmoth
"Thank you togoshigekata ... thank you ... for your excellent work and guides!" -jaapgvk

===

I am requesting 135,000 BiblePay coins from the IT budget

40 hours of work at $15/hour = $600, divided by current $0.004441 per BBP = ~135,000 BBP

(I believe this is roughly about 4% of the projected ~3,500,000 BBP IT budget for the next month)
